The source is CBM?

I'll believe it when I see it.

The source is a Spanish theater chain, Cinefilo. They're showing the runtime of 1:59 and an 18 certificate, which is apparently pretty rare these days in Europe.

Yet when you go to the website the screen grab was taken from, it only shows a grey box where the certificate would be.

I'm thinking someone print-screened the page and photoshopped the 18 certificate over the gray box. Someone's trolling CBM.

New Prometheus footage just now on Entertainment Tonight. :wow:

I'm trying to find it, it's got a few new shots and some behind the scenes. It looks awesome.

That was...Breathtaking.

Very interesting biological details from the 'Prometheus' Alien Playground Interview'.....

"The film’s new creatures are the work of Creative Supervisor for Creature Effects and Special Make-Up Effects Neal Scanlan and Prosthetic Supervisor Conor O’Sullivan. “We present the evolution of these nasty bits and pieces of creature evolution in a logical and biological fashion,” says Scott. Adds Scanlan: “Each stage of a creature’s life cycle has a distinctive purpose. For our xenobiology, we brought in new elements that are not necessarily backward from those in Alien, but are of a similar DNA. Many of Ridley’s references are derived from nature – plants, vegetables, sea creatures and other animals. Nothing is invented.”

This is mildly amusing.

Oh, that sounds like good news. So whatever the rating may be, goes.

Oh and that featurette was cool, every time I see footage from this movie I get sucked in.

I never thought I'd ever say this, but, in spite of his past faults in movie business, I thank Tom Rothman for standing behind this film.

Hopefully this means its success and the amount of seats it gets into theaters will be dependent solely on it's quality, whether it receives a PG-13 or an R.

This is what I'm hoping. The rating shouldn't matter all that much. Sure, it opens up the film to more financial opportunities to get younger people going to the movie, but lets be honest, this isn't a film for 13 year olds. This is a film that has mature subject matter. I'm glad to know that the film will be released as it's intended to be seen, regardless of rating. June can't come soon enough!
