Guy Pearce was just on "The Project" (Australian comedy talk show) Promoting Prometheus, didn't say much about his exact role but did again confirm that the events of Prometheus do lead directly into the Alien movies, though again mentioned that it's ideas are larger than the previous series, but said thematically it's very similar.

It just hit me that we're getting this in less than a month. That, combined with the Space Jockey pic above has gotten me very excited. Bear in mind, I haven't watched the 3-min trailer and will not.

I'm suprised that more than 30 years later we are kind of now just really discussing this connection between us the Jockey and the Xenomorphs. I have a really strong feeling our connection is much stronger and deeper than we think.

if theres any justice in the world this will not suck. Im getting the feeling this may be a sleeper hit to the larger amount of movie going audiences who havent been paying attention.

No it's not, and Prometheus has already been confirmed R in the U.S. by Fox and all the new TV spots in the U.S. say R as well. I just saw one last night on TV.

It is a beautiful image. Except I hate the title card they used for the IMAX trailer and some of these TV spots. I love the title card from the International. They should use that.

Don't be so hasty. Early on during the interviews, Ridley confirmed that he shot Charlize's push-ups seen in the trailer with both a nude and a strategically-placed breast bandaid version.

12A is the UK equivalent of PG13.

15 means the movie is suitable only for 15 years and older. Nobody younger than 15 may see a '15' film in a cinema.

Ya but there is none in Prometheus, if there was it would be under what Fox said the MPAA gave them, nudity was not in there. But it matters not, it's not what is important for this film.
