Never been huge into the Alien films, but now that I've noticed Fassbender is in this my interest has immediately peaked.

Anyone care to give a brief synopsis on what this film is about - or has there been no info on it yet?

I love the new images, everything looks how I thought it would. Love the helmets too.

I still feel PG-13 will bomb it, what's wrong with fox ffs!?

PG-13 WONT Bomb it....that's why this SUPER expensive movie is going to cut down.

We will see the R-Rated version on Blu Ray. And it will be glorious.

I seriously doubt pg13 will ruin this film or that the R rated version will be tremendously different.

I doubt this film will be like Sucker Punch wher do to the rating they could only hint at major plot points and motivations.

If they do an R version for Blu-ray, I really hope they don't resort to dubbing in cursing and digitally adding blood. I hate that ****.

so are we gonna see a Xenomorph? Is this related to the Alien universe?

New Pics!

It's these urns that have me interesting.... Why arranged like the alien eggs?

I'm getting really excited. As for the formation, Jake, who knows? Maybe that's just the way the jockeys like to arrange their sh**.

Perhaps stand-ins for digital eggs (on the computer reworked to eggs)?

Or perhaps the original urn idea that was featured in the original Alien story before they were changed into eggs?

those are new type of eggs that alines use to make aliens hehehehe

It could be what the green stuff is shooting out of but the tops look different.those urns can be opened which would explain why the top bit is like that.

yeah i got some huge inspiration to create some 3D alien enviorments. to a 3D software heheheh

There weren't urns in the original story, the crew mistook eggs for urns, but once they looked over a video-file of the Kane character getting impregnated they realised that they were in fact eggs:
"At first I thought they were jars too, or artifacts anyway. But
they're not. They're eggs, or spore casings." O'Bannon script.

Likely these urns were inspired by the crew's mistake (and a common misconception), and to show a proto-egg.

did he join the cast this week or did they just report it now?

It'll be late reportage, apparently the wrap party was earlier this week, according to a crew member's Tweet.
