Honestly I think Prometheus and Man of Steel are just trying to one up each other.

I have a theory Pearce, Foster and Wilson are part of another space ship not directly related to the Prometheus main cast.

well the acting will not suck. it can not suck. Scott knows how to direct actors and all the actors are good . only the editors from Fox can destroy this. but it looks like Fox is trying after X-men and Planet of the Apes. lets hope for the best.
