when joker puts the grenade in the guys mouth, why doesnt he just Take it out and toss it back at the joker?

Im thinking i posted this in the wrong forum

Better question that somewhat answers your question:

Why doesn't a crook just shoot Batman in the mouth when he gets a clear shot at him?

Probably because he was about to die (i.e. intestinal bleeding), and being about to die kinda slows down the thought process. The real question is: just smoke, or was it gas?

very...but still common sense would dictate that hed take it out and try to blow up the guy robbing his bank.

His body is all mangled after the Joker shoots, he's probably paralyzed.

Because that would be too easy. It breaks the rules of moviedom, like if more than two guys would attack the Good Guy at once, the world would explode.

BOOM.

because the movie would have no point?
haha...
seriously he was prolly in shock that he had just been shot

Whoooooosh. That's the point... going over your head.

This guy (like the crooks) have heard stories about Joker (like Batman) and so all this time they are slowly being psyched out. When they finally meet up with Joker (or Batman) they are afraid. Ta-da.

after getting shot in the legs?

Then it was a movie goof, because based on the way his right arm is just hanging dead he was clearly hit in more than just the legs.

It would have been funny if he "did" throw the grenade at Joker, then it just bounced off him, rolled on the floor and released the gas... and Joker sighed... turned around and shot him in the head. "I hate it when people can't take a joke."

Actually if you watch the HD version that's been floating around where everything is crystal clear, he has a bullet wound in his torso.

didnt see it, and i own the blu-ray, nolan's batman sure loves to embrace the dont blink or youll miss it style

watching the prologue in HD is AWESOME makes me wish I had the entire movie in HD

definately. "here's the punchline!" *BANG!*

I wondered this too. It would have been ignored if they tied his hands behind his back with a live grenade (kinda like what they did with the other hosties).

I also wondered why the cops showed up if they said the alarm went out to a private number.

the blu ray is awesome, the fights are more clearer, the visuals are superb, Reminds me of when I first came out of batman begins, it kind of makes me wish they never made a sequel, Because everything is left for the viewer ponder up ways of how batman and his rougues gallery can co-exist in a real life setting

the storyboards are even funnier instead the bank guy is still able to walk and fully move around all the while flailing around with a grenade in his mouth.

I will ask the nolan's for you.
Haha just kidding.
I think the grenade would probably go off in his hand anyway.

After watching the amazing blu-ray prologue I noticed that the vault guy uses his shoes to open the vault. I never noticed it and though it was kinda funny. Random I know.
