Quick question

As many of you know Green Arrow will appear in Smallville the TV. During the show he goes to costume and wears an outfit close to the one he has now. As pictured below with his bio on the show. Now so people do not agree with the look of the suit so I was wondering from GA fans if you like it if not so how would you improve on it.

Green Arrow Comes To Smallville
The upcoming issue of TV Guide (week of September 11-17) has a short blurb about Green Arrow, who will be a recurring character in Smallville season six. Here's an excerpt:

"At the end of the October 5th issue of Smallville (which is joining the CW Network), a new costumed vigilante makes his debut. Green Arrow, a popular DC comics character known as much for his social conscience as his exceptional archery skills, is recruiting members for a crime-fighting Justice League. “He’s trying to get people with special abilities or like-minded people to join his quest”, says Justin Hartley, who plays Green Arrow (and his alter ego, billionaire Oliver Queen) in at least seven episodes".

"He’ll have to work hard to convince Clark Kent (Tom Welling), who doesn’t approve of vigilantism, to join his cause".

i dont like the justice league idea, real to early for that. i also belive its about time they cancelled the show.

Well if you don't like how would you improve it they (SV fans) wanted to know. So I asked the comic forum because there are alot more GA fans here and would have a better input then me since I am not that big of a GA fan.

And I agree, It's waaaayyy to early to have anybody running around trying to start up the JLA. Especially if it's Ollie. He should be knocking chicks up and running out on his kid or getting drunk and falling off boats at this point, not in full costume trying to form a super team.

it would've been cooler, if they set the episode in an alternate future without clark being superman (was'nt last season based around clark not having his powers anymore?)so i guess that season would be this alternate timeline. in this timeline the world is in deep chaos and thats where we find green arrow trying to put a justice league back together since superman was the one who was suppose to found it along with bats and wondy, but since the possibility of being a superman is now gone due to clark descsion, the future was changed. eventually green arrow explains this to clark, while he learns that his descsion not to be superman cost him the lives of the people he loved the most, because in this alternate timeline clark's parents were killed along with half of earth's population by a character named darkseid when he invaded earth. it dawns on clark that he needs to be superman, the world needs him!!


i think that would've been better premise for the show. oh and in this episode GA is an older male with the trademarked GA mustache. no mustache=no real GA. I would also stick with the comic book version of the costume, seriously why is it so hard to stick with a costume from the comics. this why im pissed about the spidey's black costume. no white spider or anything. ugh

Golden Age GA was clean shaven. In regards to the costume, I don't like it. I would have preferred it if they used the costume from his Mike Grell days.

There's even such a thing as "urban camo" so it wouldn't be far fetched for Ollie to be an urban hunter.

The angle they're giving him in the description makes me think that they're going for a very super-heroey feel so it makes sense that he would use a costume like the one in the pic. I wonder if they're going to bring Bart back.

Well, from what I've seen, he's a few years older than Clark, and already went through his getting stranded on an island thing.

Green Arrow was orginally not only clean shaven but was not portrayed as a drinker or a womanizer! He could have been called Straight Arrow.
