Transformers Ratchet appreciation thread

Is it just me, or did anyone else think that Ratchet have the best and funniest line in the movie.

"The boy's pheromone levels indicate he wants to mate with the female".

I completely agree, i laugh my ass off at that line every time i hear it. Mainly because i know i would be the same in that situation!

Yeah Ironhide and Starscream will go at it in TF2, it will be great.

^I hope we see more of Ironhide and Ratchet in physical combat, they seemed to use their cannons more than anything in the movie, were as Prime, Bumblebee and Jazz used hand-to-hand skills more.

I agree, he looks perfect in the movie, I can't think of him in a different colour or design now, but cool pics anyway mMark.

Did Ratchet seem to be the least profficient in combat out of the Autobots in the movie to anyone else? It seemed he had the least to do in the final battle scene's, even though he did make some cool contributions.

But maybe in the sequel they can show as more of a in-battle medical officer, doing repairs in the middle of battle rather than joining in with it.

I think he'll definitely have a larger part in the second movie. I think the main thing Bay was concerned with was introducing the characters. Since that's out of the way I'm sure we'll see more of everyone.

^I think we'll see more of him definately, but in combat he didnt seem as proficient or as brave as the others to me, this could have been with him being the medical officer of course.

^Yeah, that seemed to be his only "Wow thats cool" moment in the movie, were as all of the other Autobots seemed to have a at least a couple.

I liked all of the Autobots, but i think Ratchet is my least favourite.

I would actually like to see him fight less, i think it would be much cooler to see him doing repairs on the other Autobots during a battle, while under fire.

I'm not sure exactly, as far as i remember we never really saw him doing much repairing in the cartoon, but i could be mistaken.

Well, if I'm not mistaken all he does is fire that little red laser like thing which repairs a certain amount of damage each time. At least that's what I picked up from watching the movie.

It would've been cool seeing him tend to Bumblebee while Jazz and Ironhide took on Devastator.
