The Dark Knight Rate the NEW & IMPROVED "SuperBadAss" Joker Special Edition Picture from "Wizard"

How would you rate the new "SuperBadAss" Special Edition Joker picture?

  • 8/10 - We wanted a "cold-blooded, mass-murdering clown", and that's exactly what we're getting!

  • 5/7 - He looks mean, but he wouldn't scare me!

  • 3/5 - Bah, Jack Nicholson is the future!

  • 0/3 - Where is the nearest window? Because I'm seriously considering chucking myself out of it!

The other pics were exciting, but they had a sort of build up to their viewing , and I felt semi let down by the reveal of all of them.

I stumbled upon this one while browsing the forums and it completely blew me away. I simply can no longer wait for this movie, haha.

10/10 by far.

i do remember reports of him with a rocket launcher in the back of the semi...:wow:
This is actually one of the more anticipated scenes for me, he is supposed to blow a helicopter out of the sky with an RPG from the back of a semi, that'll be interesting.

Yeah, very true. All the pictures are pretty much the same. Its the lighting and camera angles that makes them look so different. And its interesting how the scenes progress, his make up starts to fade giving it that more wrinkled look.

Nice pic dude

I give it a 10, I think this is the best pic of the Joker released thus far, I am so psyched for this movie. My only question is will the Joker ever actually smile in the movie, I mean no picture released so far has shown the Joker smiling.

Check out the leaked ones. there's an awesome one of him.
ed: it's above but small

so i think heath will be super sinister from this picture and last... but did anyone see No Country For Old Men? holy **** the villian in that movie is scary and terrifying as all hell! I hope he's as demented but more visually theatrical.

Because of how the makeup is deteriorating, I assume the lower pictures take place toward the first part of the movie. The upper pictures, where the makeup is more smeary, takes place later in the film.

Yea, hope we get a baby spastic joke.
Doubtful, family friendly prob.

"Hey, Batsy, what's 12 inches long and keeps a woman screaming all night? Cot death! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

I've seen set pics with the carcas of the blown up chopper in them and a pic of jokers poor upturned truck

This is a great pic but I like the Empire one better. Mostly because this is a still and I believe he looks a tad creepier when he's more reserved.
I think it's interesting that this Joker is a nice combination of the motives of the his initial appearances in the comics, the personality of TKJ, and an original look altogether. Who cares if his face wasn't conveniently "scarred" by a vat of chemicals? The make-up makes the character more interesting and makes the audience wonder why he paints his face at all. It's not that he wears the make-up in the first place, it's that he doesn't bother to touch it up or wash it off.

thats the one problem i have with this joker so far. i wish he had a few more outfits...and i don't think he does. :csad:

i'm over the make up and i'm over the cut smile. i don't even mind the whole "hobo" thing. before we saw any pics of the joker...if you asked me to imagine how he was going to look....this is pretty close to what i was thinking we were going to get. punk/vivienne westwood influences. i even imagined him to be a smoker.

He wears a cop suit, and a nurses dress that is pink in the Hospital. And I'm sure more. So don't worry about not enough costumes.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha :D

Funny sh;t :D

I'm expecting something totally different, and I'm even liking the hobo style.

I originally wanted The Joker in TDK to be a flashy dressing, maniac clown...then it hit me; why redo a version that was already perfected in the 80s?

I was also against the cut smile, now I'm really liking it. As long as the makeup stays completely on his face I'll be fine; probably the reason I wasn't much of a fan of the Empire picture. As much as I'd love to see him do it, this Joker doesn't need to change his clothes every scene. I feel like pulling up some Michael Caine quotes.

i know he doesn't need to change clothes every scene...i just wanted to see a couple of outfits. the nurses uniform doesn't count:oldrazz:,

i would have loved them to give a nod to the killing joke and have him dressed in the hawaiian shirt for a scene.

@Solidus...i'm not moaning or complaining...it's just a minor thing that i personally would have done differently. if he wears one outfit throughout the entire film...it won't take anything away from my experience of the movie whatsovever.

This the first time where the villain in a movie outshines the main character.
