no question this pic looks 1000 times better then the empire pic, but i still dont see "joker" in there. hes not smiling. i want a pic where hes smiling and grinning!! and i meana GOOD pic of him smiling.

but, sadly, he still just looks like a guy with runny makeup on.

i will say this...i am slightly worried how much the press (and how wb has let the press) go into joker overdrive this early. i think we are being overly spoiled at the minute.

no emphasis on batman or any other character whatsoever.

why does everyone keep saying nicholsons joker wasnt scary? he scared me quite a bit when i was younger, and is still creepy when i watch him today. doesnt exactly look like a mental institution attendant, but he was certainly insane and creepy in his own way. most of these ledger pics look like the way joker looked when vicky splashed water on him and his makeup was runny. and that to me is still the scariest joker moment.

Ledger is a formidable actor and I have no doubt in my mind that he will be an excellent (if not better than Jack) Joker. That said, I must say that none of the released Joker pics have really.....scared me. Even this one.....to me it just looks like Mom when she hasn't taken her meds. Oh. Dangit.... Anyone else feel like me about not being scared by these pics?

If Jack's Joker really existed and I met him, would I be scared? Yeah. But I think you can agree that even as a mass murdering clown, he was likable in the movie. You found yourself kinda rooting for him, cuz he seemed fun and likable in the movie. If he were real, I'd be scared ****less. But I'm not really scared of him in that movie. Ledger, however, scares me when I look at those pictures and hear that voice.
