I skipped most of it, but I can infer that near the end
Gwen breaks up with Peter. We saw set pics of this scene being filmed.
That is pure anus. I was hoping that it would be for when Cap Stacy dies because Gwen "Can't see him anymore." That news just bugs me.

Not to over-exaggerate the point, but I think Horner's score will be an integral part of this movie-going experience. It can make an average movie superior, or a superior movie feel lackluster.

I really hope he knocks this one out of the park with a soaring, memorable score.

Agreed. I remember watching A Beautiful Mind and in the scene where Alicia finds John's secret work in the shed behind the house and listening to the music in the background. It was dark, beautiful, and memorable. I love it, I vividly remember it to this day.

I really hope the music is surprisingly memorable and beautiful.

Miss good themes/scores these days. You rarely get one anymore...with some exceptions.

Me too. Given his track record of reusing themes and motifs from his past scores has gotten me a little worried. I'm gonna try to keep an open mind though b/c at times Horner can be great.

Does anyone else get the feeling that they played a bit of the score during the Behind the scenes Lizard video? If so, it sounds great so far...

Some of that same music, like at the very beginning, was in the SDCC reel. So I'm not thinking it's the score, it does sound nice though.

Batman Begins, The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises all have their score in trailers, behind the scenes videos and such, so why do people think it's so far fetched to think that any of those would be from the official score?

They definitely did. It sounded 100% Horner-esque.

What makes it Horner-esque exactly? I have listened a few tracks of Horner composition, and I have no idea how this sounds like his distinctive style, it's very different from his usual production. In fact it sounds like any score really. Not that it isn't unique, but definitely doesn't sound like anyone's style.

Though, we have heard so little for now that I might be surprised in the theatre of how Horner'ish it sounds

I hope horner writes something as good as Elfman/Young, because their themes really brought to life the character, villains, and emotions present in the movies. Especially young's.

I liked both Harry's and Venom's theme, but I just hate Sandman's theme. By that I only mean the part with the threatning tone though, the birth of Sandman bit was awesome

99% sure that the Lizard video has the official score in it.
That music was brillaint.

Ya I man got chills!
If thats the score in the film, then colour me impressed James Horner

I hope we hear samples of the soundtrack like Avengers.

Does anybody know if it's the actual score we hear during the bridge rescue scene? It seems to synch nicely with the events as they unfold onscreen, so I'm assuming that's Horner's score.

I wasn't saying it's far fetched, I'm just saying the music at the beginning was from the SDCC reel. The rest may likely be Horner after watching the bts video again.

No idea but it sounded great. The music did sound a bit "traileresque" though which makes me think it wasn't from the actual score.

The music playing behind the interviews in that featurette (not when it cuts to strictly film footage, where it seems to go back to trailer music) DEFINITELY sounds like Horner. In the beginning, it's the sound of the brass that sneaks in ever-so-briefly which gives it away. His horns always have that particular sound, just like Williams and Zimmer both record their brass section to sound a specific way as well. Later, the piano. It's just very, very Horner-esque, imo. When the piano first came in, it immediately recalled his score for A Beautiful Mind to me.

lol No, I don't, Severus Snape. I found that link on Toonzone.net under "The Amazing Spider-Man" movie thread. I thought I should share it, but apparently you all have seen it already. lol
