It's a bulked up Dev Patel (He can do it. If Chris Pratt and Rudd can radically transform, Patel can too

Not to mention the countless other actors who radically transformed for roles. Patel can put on a couple of pounds at the gym and go through the regular Marvel training regime. So how slim he is now will be a non factor in his casting)

Anyway, for pre-Serum - It's bulked up Dev Patel with CG hands and feet. They did something similar with Holt in First Class but they need to go all the way time and do his hands and maybe slightly lengthen his arms too

You're probably right. You could have elaborated a bit, though. Which of the suggestions do you disagree with? And do you dislike those actors in general or simply feel they'd be wrong for these particular roles?

Sorry I’m not trying to be rude but youve got picks that, as someone who identifies as GA when it comes to films, I don’t know. I don’t recognize a single name in there except maybe Saoirse Ronan. You’ve got to have a few well known actors in the mix. Who hadn’t heard of Scarlett Johansen, Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, or Brie Larson before?

Also Storm needs to stand out as the black superhero of the team, you could always bring in bishop if necessary. Professor X should be another ethnicity. White is fine, but if you want to push the race bending a bit you’re missing a Latino member in the X-men

Unknown actors are generally better. The Lord of the Rings franchise was built on mostly unknown actors, and I've taken inspiration from that in my fan-casting ever since. And from @MilkmanDan 's list, I also know Ansel Elgort, Riz Ahmed, Daniel Craig, Tom Bateman and Millie Brown. Not bad choices, if you ask me.

I wasn't really trying to push race bending. I actually considered several white British actors like Mark Strong, Jason Isaacs, Ralph Fiennes and even Jude Law. I just feel Lance Reddick would be great in the part.

As for bigger names... Well, I also think Oscar Isaac would make a great Wolverine, but wanted to find someone younger for this list. And I guess Iceman could use a more famous actor but I finally got around to watching Preacher and really liked Ian Colletti in it.
