Sequels Recasting the X-Men for the MCU

Since a few of these were suggested already, I'm working on an X-Men cast consisting of nothing but legacy kids (i.e. actors whose parents were also actors). Most of these aren't serious contenders, I'm just having fun.

Scott Eastwood as Scott Summers/Cyclops
Lilly Collins as Jean Grey/Phoenix
Wyatt Russell as Logan/Wolverine
Olivia Washington as Ororo Munroe/Storm
Zoey Deutsch as Marie D'ancanto/Rogue
Patrick Schwarzenegger as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus

That's it so far.

That's pretty funny.
How about Ethan Peck as Cyclops, Dakota Johnson as Jean and Milo Gibson as Wolverine?

based on chocolat and pirates of the caribbean, I thought he was perfect but I know, I know, some of the actors that fans like are way to expensive.

That's why I'm thinking Marvel will want to reboot with a cheaper cast who has the right chemistry. Think Guardians of the Galaxy and Antman & the Wasp. Chris Pratt wasn't very famous before any of this, and Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly were picked because Marvel thought they'd have chemistry and boy did they! I love these casts. I actually can't wait to see the Wasp in an Avengers film.

i agree with the budget and them wanting to start with a cheaper cast.
but also, Depp is pretty old to play the cajun

I would only boycott if Jennifer Lawrence were given another MCU role.

She'll probably be Jean Grey now. Or Emma Frost.

Lawrence has more of a Rogue vibe to me but even then I don't think she's good for an X-Men role. Lawrence is a more of a solo act and less of a big ensemble cast member. I would boycott Marvel films if they gave her an X-men role.

Saoirse Ronan (The Lovely Bones) was in the running to play the younger version of Jean for Apocalypse. I would actually love to see her take on that role now that we'll be getting a new cast for future movies.

Lily Collins would be my pick for Kitty Pryde & I know some people are iffy when it comes to her BUT..Kristen Stewart has always been one of my top picks for Rogue.

She looks the part without even trying and is one of the best actresses around. I can’t imagine too many objections if she got the role.

Choose actors and characters you would want in MCU X-Men, except Jessica Chastain and Chris Hemsworth, for obvious reasons.

Some. Chris Evans was well regarded around here as soon as his name came up. Obviously with all casting decisions there were some doubters of course but they were definitely a minority.

Other times it’s a good idea to ignore the fans. I remember Jon favreau asked on his MySpace for casting suggestions for pepper Potts and basically all the posts were supermodels/porn stars with no acting experience
