Howard the Duck has nothing on Mac and Me. :o

:o I actually liked Howard the Duck (but I know I'm in a minority on that one). I think I was just the right age when I saw it for the first time (and, no, I don't remember how old I was then).

Not as big a minority as you think....I liked it too. When I got to meet Lea Thompson last year I got here to sign a Howard the Duck calendar I had saved from '86.

Has anyone seen Curse of the Demon? Its a horror film from 1957; the effects for the Demon look pretty good given its age.

Yes! Found The Final Programme. Let's see how badly the film butchers the book.

I love the first 3. The "4th" was just a huge disappointment.

I really liked the original and thought the sequels were ok. I had low expectations for the fourth based on reviews but still enjoyed it. I hope they end it with a fifth film and bring Speedman back.

how dare anyone hate on Your Highness... a unicorn sword... a UNICORN SWORD.

how dare anyone hate on Your Highness... a unicorn sword... a UNICORN SWORD.
You reminded me of a movie my older siblings like, I never liked
The Last Unicorn

the last unicorn didnt have a unicorn sword :o

lol Your Highness is terrible... unless you get stoned with your friends and watch it.

I got myself stoned by watching some terrible nonsense, now I'm watching the first Human Centipede, and that after I took a glimpse of what's the second about
What am I doing to myself?

Alright, my list should now be at end, all suggestions given are appreciated
Later suggestions won't be considered

Thank you very much

Depends on your definition of good. SoV didn't try to be a superhero film like the first one did, it tried to be wacky and insane. For the most part they did a good job on that level.

That kind of defeats the purpose of a Ghost Rider movie doesn't it? :(

The whole film felt like a 30min Teaser film for what was to come in Underworld 4. But it was just Underworld 4 instead. :(

I loved how they had an expanded mythology in the Underworld series, and yes Beckinsale looks great in leather -- I liked the first and the prequel, but the rest seemed like they went further down in terms of quality. It's a good universe they just don't execute it well enough. Better than Blade though.

I love how the Underworld movies look, but the acting and dialogue makes me want to drown a kitten.

Or a werewolf. I went in expecting some sort of modern-day mythology surrounding a Moon-Goddess, I think the writers unconsciously connected with Persephone/Hecate/Demeter seeing as how Beckinsale's character goes from dead-girl to vengeful dead-girl to mommy in a bizarre reinactment of a moon-deity as a vampire. It... had potential, but it seemed like they just did it all unconsciously without thinking too much lol

I hope it was different for Ellen Ripley.

I think we can all agree that Super Mario Bros is best movie.

Funny I just watched that with a couple of friends a few weeks back after finishing up There Will Be Brawl -- now that was a good web-series.

Been meaning to watch Karloff's Mummy and the original Frankenstein films for a long time --- listening to the 1936 radio-series on The Shadow and honestly, it really had a quality that's unlike anything we got today!

Regarding the Alec Baldwin movie -- does that remind you of Batman Begins in any way? Poppy-fields, Oriental cult-leaders espousing vigilantism with the word "shadow," a moniker that goes with invisibility... I dunno, it seemed so much like a Ra's Al Ghul movie to me seeing as how Batman was originally inspired by the character.

Also, I like The Invisible Woman a lot. Sure, they turned a '30s horror series into a '40s romantic comedy, but the movie legitimately had some heart.

AND it featured the actress who played Miss Gulch in The Wizard of Oz.

I watch too many movies to keep track of them like that. :p

Might as well ask for a bit of advice here. So this is a very long story but I'll bullet point it so you don't fall asleep lol

- Im was a bar supervisor who DESPISES bars and alcohol and drunk people
- I got blamed for everything at my job because they are nuts, I had enough and quit
- Really don't want to do bar work anymore and Im looking for a 9-5 job before I apply for university for a Music degree so I can work as a music teacher
-I've been looking for a job for a month and have got nothing but rejections.
- Im just looking for a reception/admin/customer service thing for now.

any tips for breaking into a 9-5? I've got a bar job trial later today because I have no choice... really don't want to do it.

Tried applying to a manga shop?
Can you really earn a living wage from a place like that? Seems to me the ones around here don't pay any more than minimum. Can't live off of that. :(
