Good show before the finale. It was so rescue me, with so many oddball things happening at once.

The finale next week seems to have all the makings.

I watched it tonight. Poor Sheila. Well poor Sheila next week anyway.

Good ep tonight. Lotta emotions all over the place. The message that Johnny left Tommy was pretty intense. You could see it on Tommy's face. Toss in the stuff with Jerry, Franco, the Tommy/Janet/Shiela triangle and especially Sean/Maggie (WTF was that?) all it should be a hell of a season finale next week.

It was definitely kickass. Just everyone's reaction set to music and no words. It sucks that the season will be over next week.

I loved the Sean/Maggie wedding. Only that crazy broad would do something like that.

I'm interested to see what'll happen with Tommy and Sheila (who is crazier than Maggie) after the scene at the end. Just 'cause he says he's leaving the FDNY doesn't mean he's got to shack up with her.

Love this episode. And it's a prime example of why I like the series, a in moment of pain, sorrow and mourning, it still pulls humour out effortlessly.

I was surprised Johnny didn't speak to Tommy at the funeral, something like: "Get my message?"

Very well done episode, somber and sad without being sappy, competely Rescue Me's way of dealing with these types of issues.

This episode was a mess. Are all of FX's shows supposed to decline in quality during their 3rd seasons? The Shield set the trend, with a less-than-stellar season 3. Nip/Tuck apparently followed suit with a s**tty s3. Now I know for sure that Rescue Me is on the same course.

I don't feel much like getting into it, but I will say this - the "long lost" Gavin sister? Come on. Come on. And where the hell was Timo?

The sister did seem a bit superfluous. I was expecting a bigger payoff than what we got between her and Tommy. Can't really say that I thought about Timo. He should have been there or at least mention some throw-away line to explain his absence.

I thought last night's show had a lot going for it. I was just curious as to a different take.

But you know who should have been there. Marisa Tomei, her ex-husband gets gunned down and she shuns his funeral?

And I agree about the sister, but I can forgive it.

Three seasons, threee holy $#!t, what the f endings. Some really good, funny stuff, knew it wouldn't end well, but never thought it would end

Fantastic ending, albeit very depressing.

I was expecting a bit more 'oomph' from the finale. The ending was a twist, and kind of ironic, but the rest of the show was kind of bland.

Things changed for the guys who were thinking of leaving, but at the status quo was left intact. I wish there was more jeopardy all around if they were going to do a cliffhanger. At some point, I started to feel bad for Sheila, but then I remembered how bat**** crazy she is. Oh well.

Wow. I didn't care much for that finale. The writing has most definitely gotten lazier.
