Show me where and when.
prove the texture quality.
prove that you've got a good measure of it.
or admit you can't
It's a visual element. If you can't see it, then I can't help you.
you still don't understanding how a lighting model effects the visable detail still it seems. the resistance pic is a massive close up aswell so they are incomparible detail wise for that reason. it shows the wrinkles on the guys forehead in as much detail as you'd see at that distance anyway.

This video will change the world...nah just how people view Resistance, these graphics are intense, I love them to hell. I can't wait for this game now!
Danalys said:so the lighting is fine now in both pictures? it's not better in one than the other?
bit of a contradiction with a few posts ago.
I said Gears of War had superior lighting, but that didn't mean Resistance's was crap. When I said about the lighting being "fine", it meant that even though one is better than the other, they both still had ample illumination to highlight the finer details.
stop confusing the terms.
lighting as it pertains to general intensity and lighting as we would discuss in computer graphics terms.
I think you're the one who's confused here, considering how that sentence doesn't even make sense.
detail of bumps is aparent by the shadow it casts, and the light it reflects. the lighting model affects these. textures don't fake shadow anymore. they don't need to with advanced lighting models.

Fenrir said:Uh, so? Clearly the Resistance lighting model is competent enough to highlight the bumps on the soldier's shirt and the fading wrinkles on his forehead. Seems like you're just grasping for loose straws here.
But then we won't be able to see how the graphics look, which is what you wanted to show us.THE LIZARD#1 said:^I should try and just post it on youtube?

THE LIZARD#1 said:Oh hahahah I typed save target as lol you can just double click the video and just watch it in a web browser, i kept telling you guys but no one was listening and saying that it wouldn't load so maybe thats why. Try double clicking the link, I hope you aren't dissappointed![]()
