After re-watching the trailer there is no way in hell those graphics look like BLACK! They are tight as hell and are very detailed, dude Thwip I think you need to either make the video full screen, or change the settings of you PC...Theres no way in hell these graphics are bad.

THWIP I think Resistance does look sweet and I think you might want to re-watch it again. This game looks way way way way way way better than Call of Duty 2, but not 3 cause I haven't really seen a whole lot of 3 yet.

Saying Resistance has crappy Black graphics is totally sterotyping it, I mean you keep saying that when Resistance looks near damn impressive. I mean dude the A.I. actually thinks while you think like Crysis's A.I. if thats true thats definatley one reason why Resistance will be awesome.

Plus like you said THWIP it was mear 12 seconds of footage, come this Friday I bet we'll be blown away with something by Insomniac. I personally think the graphics are amazing and definatley look next-gen regardless of what Sony says this game is a AAA first person shooter. I can guarentee that.

Lizard. We get you like this game, but you need to accept that a lot of people don't think the graphics are anything spectacular. Just a difference of opinion.

I'm as big a Sony follower as you, and whilst the game does look good, it isn't anything drastically stunning, and it isn't capable of beating Gears of War in the graphics department.

Don't worry. It's early days. The killer graphics will come.

Hey guys when you were watching the video what was the color of everything? Was it blue, because when you adjust you PC to HD settings the color changes to blue in the movie, what the hell is up with that?

so what if the cell and ps3 can really do all that stuff that video was talking about? i mean, i'm pretty sure it's more marketing bs, but still... what if it is adaptive, learning, living, etc, all that stuff the video was talking about?

i don't know much about what the cell even is, but what if it is as advanced as sony is wanting us to believe? maybe then the system would be worth $600? maybe that's why they think it is worth that much, and not just the bluray player?

^See thats what I was thinking to, and I mean in countless demonstrations with Resistance the Chimera are always doing new things like flanking, seperating you from your soldiers and then killing them really fast because they don't have you watching their backs.

I think it would be really awesome to have a game with Crysis's type of A.I. where it's never the same twice that after you play the game it sort of realizes your play tactics.

But back to the whole A.I. advance thing I don't think really its going to be put to use, personally I think the PS3 is going to be a waste of hardware. The PS3 maybe everything that Sony is saying it is, like being able to adapt and being able to have all of this awesome A.I. stuff. However developers aren't willing to hit that target, they want their game to be on every single platform like the Darkness and they keep saying the PS3 is capable of great things however they don't want to explore it because they don't want the PS3 version to be vastly diffrent than the 360 version so they are giving us more popeye cartoons and things like that.

The only one whose really going in-depth with the PS3 is Insomniac and so far they are doing a really good job, I mean look at all of the evidence that supports Resistance. Insomniac bulit their own in-game engine, their own physics system, their own everything basically while other developers go out and already get technology to help them out with their games like the Unreal Engine and stuff like that.

Insomniac is trying really hard to grasp the power of the Playstation 3, and for a launch title I think they are doing a really good job charting into unknown territory. I feel that its safe to say that PS3 launch titles are already looking way better than the 360's launch titles did when it launched which is expected however some PS3 games already compare to some second generation 360 games.

the game is looking prettier everytime i see something new from it. it's still not the greatest looking thing ever, in my opinion, but not nearly as bad as some of these jerks on here would have you believe. especially considering that it's a 1st generation title, it already looks better than most (if not all) of the 360's 1st wave of games.
