Zenien said:Guerilla never let the hype go to their heads and they/Sony wasn't responsible for the Halo killer stuff. It's amazing that some people think Guerilla festered that, it's not like there wasn't an interview with one of the project leads at E3where he said his team didn't like the gaming media tacking Halo Killer onto their game.
Killzone will NEVER be as big as Halo though, that's not to say it can't be sucessful in it's own right.
Even if they weren't responsible for it, they kept it alive and kicking. The 'Halo Killer' ****, that is. They didn't try to dispel it, they rode with it.. and personally, I think Sony actually tried to continue the 'Halo Killer' hype. If Guerilla would've just came out and said, "We're not looking to kill any games, we just want to make a good game," I would maybe have some sympathy for their failure. But being neutral to crazy out-the-ass hype is just as bad as joining in it.
