Yeahh, I don't really believe him either. I guess we'll see. I have huge mixed feelings about this reboot, it could either be a complete failure or a total success.

I don't have high hopes for this so I'm thinking it will be the former.

The MTV series is like Transformers.

They suck ass but are extremely enjoyable on occasion (i.e. web-swinging looked awesome in that show)

Why not? He's a good actor and he definitely could pull it off. He seems like he could be a real teacher. He just has that look.

I must confess, i'm quite happy now we're getting a re-boot. If only because i'll never have to sit through another Bruce Campbell cameo, or hear Elfman's horrible Spider-Man theme again, or see Kirsten Dunst play MJ . Now that i think about it, other than SM2, the Raimi movies were quite cheesy.
