Ryan Reynolds Get Buried.

Nice. It reminds me of the Vertigo movie poster.

I saw the teaser for this attached to the NOES remake, definitely got my attention.

looks lame... i dont think i would be able to stand a whole hour of that..

the twirling camera is a terrible idea too.

definatly not worth $10 for theaters.. mayyybe depending on reviews a rental.

It creates a feeling of claustrophobia. At least it did for me, then again I have trouble getting into elevators that are too small hahah.

Anyone else read the script? Damn it's gonna be an intense movie, craaazy ending too.

Cool poster, definitely looks a lot Saul Bass's work. Not totally sure if it fits with the supposedly grim tone of the film, but I like it.

Nice. It reminds me of the Vertigo movie poster.

thats exactly what i first though...

rip-off

and dont say homage... this movie has nothing to do with vertigo lol

My only issues with that trailer are that the song in the beginning kinda reminds me of something Oceans 11-y and the Youtube name drop. It seems just about every movie nowadays somehow incorporates youtube and the number of hits it recieves in to the plot and it always takes me right out. :o

SDCC: New Trailer for Buried

This looks like it will be uncomfortable viewing but intriguing.

Agreed....Hope this allows Reynolds the opportunity to do some more serious roles down the line. Love some of his comedic stuff...but would like to see him do more drama. The various dramas/action movies I saw him in I thought he was pretty good.

Reynolds isn't a favorite of mine, but this movie looks kinda cool. I'm claustrophobic so the whole idea kinda freaks me out.

Ugh....I really didn't like the newest trailer.

It looks a little...underwhelming and corny.

RSVP'd for the Fantastic Fest 2010 competition for this on Facebook just for laughs (it's the one where 4 people are invited to the Fantastic Fest premiere and watch the whole movie while buried alive for the whole hour-and-a-half runtime). Even if I get picked as one of the 4 winners, I probably will decline my acceptance. Besides, to mis-quote a hilarious scene from Young Frankenstein, THIS is probably what I'd be like if I partook in the event:

Me: No matter what you hear in there, no matter how cruelly I beg you, no matter how terribly I may scream, do not dig me back out of this coffin before the movie's over or you will undo everything I have worked for. Do you understand? Do not dig me out.
Ryan Reynolds: Nice knowin' ya.
*I lie down in the coffin and the top is closed shut. The people responsible for burying me and digging me back out later start throwing dirt on top of it.]
Me: (slowly beginning to panic) Let me out. Let me out of here. Get me the hell out of here. What's the matter with you people? I was joking! Don't you know a joke when you hear one? HA-HA-HA-HA. Jesus Christ, get me out of here! Dig me out of this goddamn place or I'll kick your rotten heads in! Mommy!
*My cries go unheard. When I'm finally dug back out 90 minutes later, I'm in so much shock that I just keel over, a la Bazooka Joe.*

What a *****e move. You'd win and you wouldn't want to go? That's ****ed up.

The movie was good, it's a thriller with simplistic being the key.
Reynolds did an excellent performance and the story was compelling and it has enough suspense throughout the whole movie.

4/5

Just saw this today- I tought it was very well written and Reynolds did a fantastic job.
It seems people are divided on the ending, but I found it appropriate.

F'reals.

The movie is like, what, an hour and a half? And considering how it stayed true to the script by keeping everything in the coffin the way it flowed is pretty impressive. Some lame scoring was done, but that last 2 minutes was intense.

Oh, and the credits music was a horrible choice.

I thought this was very well made, and Reynolds gave a great performance. I have to say though
the ending made me sick to my stomach. I mean I literally felt a bit ill when the reveal came that they dug up some other guy.

I just finishing watching the movie, man, it was intense, clastrophobic, great acting by Ryan Reynolds

[blackout]the ending suck monkey balls, I don't know whether that was suppose to be a joke or something, but that wasn't a good ending. I mean, sure, if you are ending with the main actor dying, don't make it a joke or a "haha opps" moment? bad ending[/blackout]
