Sandy Lying and everyone being so naive...

I personally don't see why a blatantly more powerful person should apologise to a weaker adversary..

sandman has nothing to gain by apologising, he could simply kick spidey's head in and be done with it.

Thus showing (and proving) that he isn't evil . . .

I must admit that that is one of the things that has bothered me with this franchise: Spidey/Pete is quite selfish. In every one of the three films Spidey couldn't care less about finding the supervillain untill it affects HIS life and HIS loved ones. He never makes any effort to find and stop said bad guys untill they step on his toes and take MJ hostage. He stops them fair enough -- Goblin at Times Square, Ock at the bank -- but once the confrontation is over he just seems to shrug it off and make no attempt to find them.

Apart from the above, I can pretty much take anything these movies throw at me -- you can find plot holes in any good story, comic book or otherwise.
peter parker is self motivated and quite selfish...

there is also no scene where he even attempts to help aunt may out financially even though in the second film he's notices her financial struggles.

your scenes are even highlighted at the beginning of the franchise...

the robber has a loaded weapons when running past pete and he makes no attempts to care about his actions until it is his uncle that is affected. Would he have done the same if it was a normal bystander that was attacked? Judging by the actions seen in the last three films, probably not.

LOL... I hanven´t thought about that, but you are right, is like he is never patroling the streets just waiting for things to happen around him

Like in SM3 when he is listening to the police monitor waiting for Sandman to appear he ignored some other calls (I don´t know the police codes, maybe there was nothing important)
