Scooby-Doo Heading Back to the Big Screen

I feel like if enough people ***** even if Forte does do the voice they may bring in Lillard to redub it all.

I like Lillard in the role, but he doesnt own the character. Just like Mark Hamill doesnt own Joker. There will always be voice actor change ups from time to time.

Lillard isn't even the first person who replaced Casey Kasem as Shaggy. I wouldn't be surprised if Warner Bros wanted to differentiate from both the live action movies and the TV series and maybe Forte's voice suits the Shaggy they have for the new film.

That being said, I wonder if Frank Welker might not be Fred in this film, he's voicing Scooby but the fact he wasn't announced as voicing Fred makes me think he's been replaced.

That has me curious too, along with Daphne.

Yeah, but there's just no class in firing a guy over the internet. Hopefully they didn't do the same to Welker over the Fred role.

Those Shaggy memes were created by WB/HB to drum up interest in a Scooby Doo movie.

Stay woke.

They haven't fired him, it's simply not been chosen to voice Shaggy in the movie.

Efron as Fred is pitch perfect.

Surprised to hear that Dynomutt is in this.

‘Toy Story 4,’ ‘Spongebob,’ ‘Klaus,’ ‘Scoob’ Join Annecy Lineup

Animated by Reel FX for Warner Animation Group, and directed by Tony Cervone, “Scoob” will be presented in Annecy’s Works in Progress strand, having been sneak peaked via an extract at WAG’s lineup presentation last year, which suggested the movie taps into WAG’s hallmark physical comedy and sense of ensemble frenetic action.

Mark Wahlberg & Jason Isaacs To Play Blue Falcon & Dick Dastardly In ‘Scoob’ – Deadline

Wahlberg will play the Blue Falcon, a superhero from the Hanna-Barbera canon who teamed up with Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang to fight against one of his arch-enemies, Mr. Hyde.

Isaacs will portray twirling mustache villain, Dick Dastardly, who is reported to be the main baddie of Scoob. Dick is a duplicitous car racer and pilot whose vehicles are known to carry various bombs and traps. He too has a right-hand dog in scruffy giggler Muttley.

Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman is just one of those things that is just surreally perfect.

It's like a 30 Rock bit, except in that case, he wouldn't just be doing the voice of Captain Caveman, he'd end up hitting his head and thinking he actually is Captain Caveman.
