Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: THE GAME!

So, from what I've head, the 6th unlockable character will be DLC in time for the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the movie.

Any thoughts on that?

FINALLY BEAT IT!!

Slightly weird end though, no? lol

Scott, have you beat it with anyone else?

I've beat it with Kim and Ramona. Still working on Stephen

Kim's ending has her dating Knives. Ramona's ending has her ending up with Scott, much like the comics and movie.

Ah I see! That's really cool! Gonna get on those. Thanks!

I'm angry with you guys.:cmad:

No, I'm not really, just jealous. I've been waiting and waiting to enjoy some 8 bit fun and Microsoft is being slow asses about it. Normally games are online by 2 am my time...GIVE ME THE DAMN GAME ALREADY YOU WH****

:hrt:

Hopefully it's up by the time I finish work I love local coop games just need to convince some people of it's awesomeness

Already posted, but it's worth mentioning again. I've listened to it twice since buying it last night. I think my favorite song is "Maki Ya." :hehe:

It's a really fun game and full of references which is sweet but mine is freezing constantly.

Finally got the game on Xbox....

You guys were right about it being addictive. I've literally spent hours just beating up and shopping (especially before going to the "Ex-Crossover Band Level) which is the 3rd? I believe....

Great fun. I got my girl into, she's hooked. I haven't tried Survival Horror Mode yet, but I think I'll give it a shot in the coming days.

Is it just me, or does that music in some areas remind of "Chip and Dale:RR" game.:o

What is Boss Rush Mode? You just fight all the bosses one after the next?

Yeah, I figured it was, like, common 8-bit-era terminology and someone on here could confirm it. I don't know.

Did you try it out yet? You should be the "brave tester" tell us if it's fun.:cwink:

I'm taking your advice and just going for the level ups, or I would do it personally.

The boss rush mode is pretty sweet. It's just you fight all bosses and their different forms/stages. At the end you get the time it took you do it. It's pretty fun. The zombie one is really awesome too.

I haven't. I haven't played this game for a while, actually. I got hooked on Red Dead Redemption and played that all of last week. But I'm almost done with it, so I'll come back to this game after.

Late to the party but anyhoo, this game is so additive and it's cool that it's in 8-bit too. Surprising it's not the typical beat-em up game since it has upgrade and stuff so it doesn't feel repetitive.

The game is getting a new DLC.
http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/30/scott-pilgrim-dlc-delivers-new-character-modes-in-november/

The content will include a new playable character, Knives Chau, along with two new modes, a free-for-all arena battle with weapons (a sort of "lite" version of Super Smash Bros.) and dodgeball. The asking price will be $1.99 on PSN (160 Microsoft Points on XBLM).

At the same time, a patch will be issued to address difficulty balancing (making "average joe" a little more forgiving), squash several bugs and introduce drop-in/drop-out co-op. The latter will be for offline play only; when asked, Ubisoft said there are no plans to incorporate online multiplayer into the game, nor any further DLC for this stellar beat-'em-up.

A shame they will not fix the online multiplayer, but at this price for the DLC is really cheap and will add some more fun in the game so I will be getting it.
