I think most of our hardcore posters in the thread have seen the movie. Only person I haven't seen is anjow.

Jow's seen it twice and hates it. But, is too busy filming today to post a review. Tomorrow sometime, he told me...

Seriously though, when is the spoiler ban off? I get being polite, but it's been out for a day and a half. If you're reading this thread and haven't seen it yet, you're reading at your own risk.

Jeesh you act like the movie has been out for two years. It's only been one day. Give people a chance to see it before you go posting spoilers all willy nilly. You would be pissed if some spoiled a movie you were looking forward to without warning. Luckily I haven't run across any spoilers yet. I am going to go see it tonight at the 9:45pm showing. At least wait until the weekend is over before you freely post spoilers.

The second spoilers can be broadcasted by critics, BookFace, and Twitterz everything else should be fair game which was 2/3am Friday morning.

I did that with X-Men: The Last Stand. Mixed first time. Second time I was sure I hated it.

Ending was great! I thought this Scream film was better than 3 and definately on par with part 2 regarding the ending...I so didnt see it coming...

I wanted to let everyone know that boxofficemojo.com shows Scream 4 made only 8 million on Friday compared to previous Scream films and the Saw franchise this movie is ranking badly...Hopefully we can still get our Scream 5.

Even sadder about Kirby. There's even little moments with Sid and her where she seems to be capable of being the new lead/Sid.

The moment in the classroom at Cinema Club, her moment with Sid where Sid says if you can't trust him don't let him in. Hell, she's even the first of the new generation we see. And even her moment with Charlie where she finally takes notice of him right before he offs her seemed similar to Billy and Sid's sex scene in some ways.

So yeah I am about to watch the movie in two hours, and I HATE jump scares because they are annyoing more so if there are alot and too soon. Any warnings?

Hope this is worth it.

I took a friend to this film mainly because I enjoyed it but another part of the reason was to make sure I wasn't blinded by nostalgia the first time I saw it.
I walked out with the same feelings ,which is good.

i still dont buy it... he didnt even pass out or anything.. [BLACKOUT]he had enough time to get outta the car.. walk a couple steps and deliver a whole line.
and that knife went alll the way deep into his brain lol

It was over the top but it had me laughing so I overlooked it. One death I heard people complain about was [BLACKOUT]the publicist getting out the car[/BLACKOUT].

I noticed it but I think a lot of people didn't based on their reactions.

Nope. No warnings. There are some good jump scares though. Or maybe it's because I scare easy.

I found the jump scares to be really good, but I was so wrapped up in the story that it was hard to get me startled. The suspense was toned down for a reason though. It was straight to the point, which is what I think fits well for Scream 4. The film was just great.

Agreed, though I've only seeen the film once (I'll be seeing it a second time on monday). I never expected her to be the killer, whcih made it all the more great/sad.

The guy behind me went "Are you serious?!" real slowly. t: I mean when the GF showed up in front of Sydney with Charlie behind her, for a split second, Jill crossed my mind. Then the mask came off, it actually ****ing happened. It was surreal. The fact that she was actually the killer is more surprising than her reveal I think.

Even though I'm not a big fan of the Scream movies, I got to say that I enjoyed some of it while I was at work today, the acting comes off as well done. Especially Hayden Panettiere's acting. As for the flaw department, my 'main' beef is that when you find out who is doing the killing, well the murderers' reveals just aren't believable.

When ghostface took off the mask to reveal that Jill is the killer, everyone in the audience in my theater gasped, lol. This felt like Scream, and I couldn't be happier. Seeing it again on monday.
