Scream 4!!!!! - Part 4

For fans of the original trilogy:

Man, I forgot they did this with the cast. I wish I had stayed for it in Scream 4. Does anybody know if they do something similar? This is a nice bow. But I think the above video highlights how much more fun the first two Scream films were.

Btw, I remember a few months aog I read an interview with Wes Craven nad he mentioned that after Scream 4, he might retire if no other projects happen. Sounds to me like the perfect oppertunity for wes to do a 5th Scream. All we need is Williamson, and for the project to get green lit.

Font can be changed but did they do a moving portrait for each actor? It is very '90s, but so is the franchise, so I would not mind.

My friends and I were talking about being able to ride off of Scream 4's story for Scream 5, if it's to be made.

Scream 5 could pick off literally the next day after the world found out the truth about the killer.

That'd be new for the Scream series, but usually Ghostface is a very calculated planned killer. So it'd literally have to be one of the survivors that was the killer.

That's not a bad idea. However, who would be the killer now? That's the biggest question, if you ask me.

Well, they could pull a Scream 2. Eh, I mean not literally ripping it from Scream 2 with the killer being the mom and all, I mean I bet the killers parents in Scream 4 were completely freaked when they found out their kid was a killer.

I could see an obsessed fan kind of thing.

ETA: It'd also put pressure back on Sid because, granted who was going around stabbing people for lolz. Like "Damn, Sid, you just can't escape this ****".

They haven't done the obsessed fan thing of Sid's yet. It was suppose to be an opener for Scream 3 originally, so who knows they might go back to it.

Well, one killer's mom is dead, we never hear about their father, and the other's parents we never see. It's possible, but the motive is really really close to Ms. Loomis.

^^ I like the idea of the obsessed fan or the father. I just hope the father angle wouldn't come off as a too similar to Scream 2 where Billy's mom is the killer with help from Mickey.

I'm really starting to lean to the obsessed fan as a killer rather than a family member now.

But what would lead her to staying in town for another movie?

^^ That's the big question. Perhaps if she feels that she leaves and comes back once more, it might start happening again.

movie wasnt as good as i thought it would be,better than the 3rd but the first 2 are far better

Scream 5 picks up after 4. She is abducted on her way to an airport or whatever and tied up for a good part of the movie. The killer kills anyone that gets near. Not typical Ghostface fashion, but would make sense for it being an obsessed fan.

I have quite a few friends that agree with that, but personally I find this as great as Scream 1.

Hmm, I guess that could work, but I'm ont 100% sure. I see that as one of the possibilities. With all the airport stuff and things like that, there would probably be more people involved in the climax of the film than just Gale and Dewey.

****, why can't Sidney just have a damn love interest too? It's been YEARS since Billy. I mean, I know that's a traumatic experience, but if she wanted to get full charge of herself in the end like she wants, she'd find a guy.

Scream
Scream 4
Scream 2
Scream 3.

I liked the obsessed fan idea, especially if they play into it with it also being a Stab fan who blames Sidney for Jill's remake not happening, because she sued. However it brings to question what kind of horror tropes it could play with.

Well, she had Derek in Scream 2 and she loved him but she didn't trust him enough to save him from being killed by Mickey. I think that's why she hasn't found herself a man yet.

And she might be too cautious to tread familar ground. In this case, that ground is a new love life.

I don't think she was over in Derek in Scream 3 yet either. She was still wearing his greek letters.

logically, an obsessed fan is really the only way they can take it.

Unless Gale feels unappreciated and wants to know what everyones favorite scary movie is. :/
