Barry is shocked when Eobard Thawne returns in the most unexpected way, and with a tie to a loved one. Damien Darhk offers advice to Barry but there is a catch. An epic battle begins with The Reverse-Flash against The Flash and Team Flash

This episode will air on December 7th

This just keeps getting more interesting.

Obviously RF went back in time and made some changes, he wasn't too happy after the last encounter with barry, considering that he was tossed out of the way effortlessly showing that barry was significantly faster than RF...it'll be interesting how this pans out.

Definitely has the makings of an iconic episode

This turned cringe real fast.

Bringing everything back to love like it was some Disney film...."You saved the entire universe with Love" "I'm afraid of Love" "I love my wife" ....this show has started to become more of a fanfic than an actual show and that comes from someone whose always been fine with romance in the Arrowverse.

Trying to build up this "epic" Allegra/Chester romance was.....IS a waste. Its been 10 years since they shared a passionate night and have been pining after one another ever since but neither wants to make the move so they just stay single for their entire lives and never move on....but wait...Allegra has to tell Alex that Chester stood her up so Alex has to waltz into the lab and go all "WHY DID YOU GHOST ALLEGRA 10 YEARS AGO!".....girl...it was 10 years ago.

I'm not sure what they love so much about Damien that he's been around for the past 6 years, maybe they are just really big fans that he killed Laurel, but even Damien has been used to death even if I do enjoy the actor, but so again so has Thawne yet here we are. But they couldnt come up with a better way to depower Damien? They had to use Constantine off screen as a lousy excuse?

Has Ryan not been The Atom this entire time? Please dont tell me that he just suited up.

Have I mentioned how played out Thawne is? All of this is just so played out.

That was some good stuff, particularly everything between Barry and Thawne. I could have done without the subplot involving Allegra and Chester but I don't think it dragged things down too much. They've been hinting at them getting together for a while too so whatever.

I don't think the show will ever reach the heights like the first two seasons but Armageddon has been a pleasant surprise.

Seeing Barry wearing the Reverse-Flash suit is their way of making up for not using that when they did Flashpoint.

The story of Cisco and Kamilla presents an opportunity here.

(I'm sure the actors are nice people who are doing their best with the scenes they're given, but I really don't understand who the showrunners think the target audience is for tertiary characters such as Allegra and Chester.)

Darhk standing in a city intersection, surrounded by tall buildings. Flash running around the world to build up speed. If only Thawne had attacked Darhk — drawing a response from Flash — instead of chasing Flash, this would have had all the setup for re-creating Wally's Run of Awesome from the season 2 finale of Justice League Unlimited. I really wanted to see scenes of the world zipping past Flash's point of view.

Ok this episode was dope and hands down the best installment in the Armageddon event. I loved Reverse Flash and yes so glad he finally has a new suit just hope when Wally comes back he gets the same treatment. It was good seeing Damien Darkh again. I loved all the easter eggs and reference’s to possible future events. But yeah this event has been really fun and I truly hope they keep this up the remainder of the season.
Also that Superman and Lois trailer between the commercial break was pretty cool.

Best episode in years! Fellt more like a season 1-3 episode when the show was pretty good.

I’ve been away from the show for a while. So who was that bare-chested fellow (with the fetching fur collar) who fought alongside Killer Frost against Damien Darhk?

So if Ryan doesn't show up in the main timeline in Part 5, which I doubt she will, this at least allows the shows to avoid the question of "Hey, did you know that there's a new Batwoman?"

I liked the concept of Barry having to team up with Darkh. Reminded me of when Superman had to team up with Vandal Savage in that Justice League episode "Hereafter."

Barry is no longer a hero. It was wrong for Barry to endanger the world and all those billions of innocent lives, even though he figured he could reset the damage he caused. He should have defeated Thawne and accepted the new timeline, regardless of his own personal losses and the relatively low damage Thawne had already caused.

Chillblaine. A Ice tech welding baddie like Captain Cold ( just not as fun) who has an on and off relationship with Frost.

It's not the first time. At the end of season 1 he time traveled, even at the risk of a singularity.

Best episode for a long time but I do have to agree that the Allegra-Chester bits were very unnecessary and the whole "save the world with love" was cheesy as hell. Everything with Thawne and Barry was great though.

It's Kraven the Hunter. The timeline has been altered so much that Sony-Marvel characters are crossing over.

Chillblaine. He was introduced last season as a villain/Frost love interest.

Yeah, I think I'm out. Even the fun of Cavanaugh's Thawne can not save this story.

Glad to see everyone at the CW is aboard the Wildmoore train, though.
