I thought about sharing this, but it's not really spoilery or related to the actual movie in terms of plot development (unlike the first post-credits scene). I'm sharing this for those who are outside the US and have already paid to see it in theatre who may be upset they didn't get to see this

[BLACKOUT]
After the battle, the Avengers team sitting quietly with no dialogue eating shwarma. Stark was not in his suit. Banner wasn't Hulked out

so is this after the credits or is it withing the body of the film, after the big battle at the end but before they all go there separate ways...?

How did Chris Evans look?

It's a callback to something Stark says earlier.

^Don't tell me you're actually falling for a blatant (and poor) attempt at trolololling....????

....Although I do love me some shawarma. Kinda hard to get at 1 AM around here, though

I do not know about the shawarma, but the way the scene was described to me did have then sitting about after the battle is some sort of restaurant....

After the last credits. [BLACKOUT]At the end of the movie, after the battle, the human Avengers are in regular civilian clothing much like you see at the start of the film when they are assembled. [/BLACKOUT]

When this scene was filmed, Chris Evans had a full beard for the film he is working on now, an interesting challenge to say the least...

If he's included, I'd imagine they'd film him from the back wearing the Cap wig.

Also, in case people were curious, the source for the rumor is Christopher Campbell filmcritic on Twitter.

It sounds very Whedon-esque to me, plus it is something foreign audiences wouldn't get too made about. I believe it.

For those wondering what it is:

^^ This is shawarma? Here in Germany it's called Doner kebab.

Another after credit scene would be cool to see. I think they "disassembled" too quickly. I hoped they would show more scenes when they say goodbye in the Central Park.

But I'll believe it when I see it. No offense.;-)

Yes there is a picture of it on Tumblr. Dammit I just came back from a screening (I'm in Singapore) and they didn't have it! Does anybody know if they are going to include it for overseas screenings?

It's odd that the international screenings don't include this scene.

I am going to an IMAX screening tomorrow (watched it in 2D today); hopefully it will have it. Is it after right at the very end? I thought it was playing after the first post credits scene...may be confused right now.

I totally buy this. Exactly what Whedon would do.

The picture makes me LOL. Fits perfectly to the tone of the film.

That picture is brilliant lol. Was this the 'extra' scene they filmed recently I wonder?

That doesn't make much sense for a post-credit scene. You see Thor with the others. However, Thor already left Earth with Loki before the credits.

It makes total sense. They're a team now, why wouldn't they sit down for a bite to eat after saving the world? Plus it calls back to a Tony Stark line - and it sounds like something Whedon would think is funny.

Please read what I wrote. I doesn't make sense because Thor can't be in Asgard and on Earth at the same time.

Unless he has the superpower of being at two different places at the same time, of course...

I think it's assumed that this particular scene takes place after the fight, but before the departure of Thor and Loki back to Asgard.

You can see in the background of the screenshot that the restaurant is pretty beat up from the invasion.

Why couldn't the scene take place before he left?

Why should it? The whole move was narrated in chronological order.

I'd find it weird if we suddenly got a scene that takes place before the last scene we saw.
