Wow. I'm surprised his cast is bigger than 6. He's not very big on huge casts. Hopefully he can manage and still tell good stories, though I'll admit since the only team book I've read him on was X-Men, I'm worried.

I really Really REALLY don't understand how so many people can be sure the first silhouette is Beast. Simply by the number of digits being greater than four. For such a big ad campaign type situation, to let a error like that get through if it is Beast is pretty terrible

Here is my speculation.

1. I lead by example - to me it clearly shows a classic Captain America uniform. What strikes me the most is the gloves, captain america's costume is the only costume that seems to have the strap sticking out like that.

2. I strive For Redemption - it looks too much like a goblin costume, the last time i saw the green goblin he had boots similar to in that image. However i think the clue makes me start to think it's Hob Goblin...

3. I have control of my life - now i would like to say emma frost but to be honest that image can only come from one group of characters... the female members of the hellfire club... this could be a ploy for one of the other hellfire members... sage perhaps?

4. I excel through adversity - at first i thought Iron Man but then i thought no, it's too slim for him. But there was only one other character in the mar-vell universe that did that pose whilst in flight... Captain Mar-vell... check out images on google.

5. I act upon my convictions regardless of personal consequences - At first again i thought it was Iron Man or perhaps warmachine because there is clearly armour on limbs... but then on closer look it's only down half of one of the bodies... then it hit me, It's Forge... look at the way the right left, our left, his right leg is robotic, and his right arm...

6. I focus on the solution not the problem. - alot of people say its beast, i dont think it is... beast went through that secondary mutation that made him look like a cat... Now at first i would of said yep it sounds like beast, but during the secondary mutation beast had smaller feet... like cat's hind legs... In the image it shows someone with boots... The overal frame and pose is very spiderman but he's too musclely to be spiderman... you could say Venom But that would be weired... But think about it, wasnt venom a member of the thunderbolts? he's also attached to scorpian so probably not him. The only other character i can think of that it might be is Black Pantha... something about the poses makes me think this.

Beast having 4 fingers sometimes and 5 fingers other times doesn't automatically mark him out.

Venom or just about any other character most people have said doesn't make sense with the whole "I focus on the solution not the problem" bit. Hank does.

Not to mention the pose is just screaming his standard jump and lunge that he does all the time.

I did think of Guardian as a secrete avenger but he is very candian base, I've always figured Avengers has been mostly an american team... although they have had people from different nationalities, Guardian is too much of a leader, could you see him being lead by captain america?

Not since the Oeming Alpha Flight mini. He had become quite awesome in that. Of course I think he was in Dark X-Men and theres no telling how they handled him in that.

That flying one that people suspect is Guardian. Could it be Hank Pym? The quote certainly describes him, and it makes sense that they wouldn't include his Wasp wings in the image so that isn't too obvious.

I'm tempted to go for Hank Pym on the "I excel through adversity" one. Deodato has a habit of drawing humongous thighs on all men, so we can't assume thigh bulges are pads, pouches or armour segments. I think that maybe the slightly edged shapes on the shoulders before the trapezius are Hank's new little light pod things. And the shapes on the arms could well be his forearm gauntlets. The boots seem to have some kind of visible straps or something along the shin, and Hank's boots have thus far been depicted very simply. But this could be the perspective, or maybe just Deodato adding some detail as he does more photorealistic figures.

the "I strive For Redemption", I would give my two bucks on the Sentry, because after what he/the Void did to Ares in Siege 2, I think he'll have a serious need for redemption (but I seriously I'm wrong, because although I've found the first Sentry mini series really cool, I really can't stand that character right now)
