Ugh... I just want Sentry to go away or atleast become a Cosmic hero or villain.

Problem with it being Forge is that he is now crazy and possibly dead due to an interdimensional portal and a bunch of strange mutant/mutates he created to fight a war with another dimension...and oh yea, Brand blew him up.

Wasn't that only part of the Ghost Box issues which were basically elseworlds?

Like Hobbit said, that was 616...so as far as we know...Forge is currently deceased.

Since when has death ever been a problem for a character from the marvel universe... one could argue... Captain America is dead... yet you have him as a possible candidate for one of the silhoutes

Steve Rogers isn't dead. He just came back recently. Forge just went kaboom recently. Big difference.

Full May Previews comes out tomorrow. I wonder if at least some of our speculations will be revealed.

Seriously? Man, **** marvel's excellent treatment of native americans. Bad enough he lost body parts, the love of his life, the lives and souls of all his friends in vietnam, but yeah keep piling the ****.

Well, it is quite analogous to the real world, so that's something:o

Hmm, I think that the first is either Daredevil or Anti-Venom, but I'm leaning towards Brock;
- The pose: We have lots of super agile heroes, but the body language that follows feels a bit more akin to the "inhuman" agile/sleek characters like Nightcrawler, Beast, Venom with Spidey being the most normal. Also the hands, just the hands, they look dynamic and slightly clawed, not really sharp, but the outstretched close up looks like there is minimal protrusion like that in dulled claws.

-I don't think its Beast (whether de fuzzed or not) the feet look like typical Spidey-issue-classic 90's non-detailed hero boots. I would think that he'd be barefoot for maximum effectiveness. Though I could be wrong.

- The quote seems to fit with his whole redemption shtick. One of his better "new development characteristics" is that he doesn't make everything about him. "Not going to complain. It's not always about me." No more lunatic personal agendas. He knows the value of human life (to a degree) and focuses on neutralizing the threat. While he did go back to killing in his mini, he fought more against it than he used to. So the quote "I focus on the solution and not the problem" to me means, he's focused on defeating, cleansing/neutralizing the opponent, and not making the fight personal. That's the solution. The problem is Bullseye has stolen Erdethium for his mysterious employer and has killed 9 police officers in his escape. Instead of Brock screeching in, cracking his spine in half and gargling his bone marrow, he'll instead kick him in the face, do the hustle on his ribs
and web him up.

-I can imagine them wanting to use a symbiote in secret; if the person is in control (no influence since the symbiote is NOT sentient this time around) they could be very useful, but after the Gargan adventures, things would be a potential PR disaster.

My main issue with the Brock theory is this;
How would he be recruited, I know it's in May, but someone would need to observe Brock and get the idea he has changed significantly. Maybe his healing ability would potentially say someone. Him choosing not to kill a difficult opponent, but rather take them down in an actual heroic manner may show a hint of change to another hero.

That's just my $0.02 and pocket lint. :woot: Thanks for reading!

That would take, literally, 1 full page spread at the end of Siege where it's Fury or someone infront of a computer with a bunch of pictures of various heroes with some kind of word baloon going "we need to form a team in secret" or something and boom.

Not sure if someone has already posted this theory. You know what I think would be a funny twist on all of these characters? If theyre really not the establihed heroes we think they are.... But they're actually Nick Fury's team of Secret Warriors promoted to the big time with costume changes. I mean, it makes sense. If Fury bites it Siege and Rogers takes his place as their mentor. Since this is a covert team, they've got plenty of experience. Anyone think I'm crazy?

Not saying I think it's Forge but just like Steve came back...so could he.

So, judging by the preview of Secret Avengers, I'm guessing that they're not going to be the Avenger's version of X-Force (which looks like it's ending by the way). I have two theories--

- A. They're international (kind of like mighty avengers) and they go covert so as not to start international incidents.

- B. They take care of non-public threats (similar to the Illuminati). Threats that the general public wouldn't be able to handle i.e. alien invasions, covert Hydra or AIM operations etc.

Both would still work with the heroic theme.

That solicit makes it seem more and more like it's going to be Fury leading them and he's going to have some of his HC's come with him

That might be misdirection I remember Hickman saying he wants Secret Warriors to run to at least issue 30, but you never know I mean he is Nick Fury he can multitask and they're both Secrets.

Also, I wonder if Secret Warriors will end when "SHIELD" launches this spring/summer (both by Hickman)

Hmm, interesting idea. I'd like this a lot actually. While I like X-force, I don't want or think an honest-to-God Avengers team should be "blawrrrwl killkill GrimdarkSTablos!" (Yea I've no idea what that was :woot: )

I'm glad that we're moving forward and that the heroes will actually be structured in a manner that isn't a desperate and rushed one; they'll be in control and organized and actually treated like heroes.

AGE OF HEROES # 1
The Story: Eisner-winner & fan-favorite KURT BUSIEK RETURNS TO MARVEL! THE HEROIC AGE IS HERE! The Heroes are restored to their rightful place in this new era, and the world is safer for them. They defeated Osborn & his Siege on Asgard, now they have one last foe to face: the Mayor of New York -- J. Jonah Jameson! Also, MI13 come to the US, but one of them isn't leaving--they are defecting to the AVENGERS?! Plus Dr. Voodoo's Sorcerer Supreme duties infringe on “date night” and how much trouble can Spider-Man get into in one day? The answer: A LOT! Rated T …$3.99

If my theory is true and this is a team of international espionage mixed with this preview, the theories of Captain Britain on this team my be accurate. As well as other non-american heroes ie Black Panther, etc.
