I doubt Franco will get it. The rumour is just that the agency is pushing him for it, not that Black or Fox actually want him or are in talks with him.

Even then CAA have numerous talent's on their booKs. In Hollywood there's two main talent agencies WME and CAA. I'd say about 90% of any worthwhile actors/actresses are with one of those two. You're telling me CAA can't advocate for one of their other better talent's?

Yeah, if there's a Holland March/Harry Lockhart kind of role, I want him as that, so long as there's a Jackson Healy/Gay Perry character to be the badass one.

As for cast, I'd like to see one or more of: Sam Rockwell, Oscar Isaac, Colin Farrell, Sam Jackson (of course!), Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro.

i watched The Nice Guys from Shane Black. its classic Black as in things happen that are not what you would expect. its a good movie.

i think a lot of fans will be disappointed The Predator. we expect a classic three act structure with predictable blockbuster story. something will happen in the movie that will piss of fans.i can feel it.

Benicio Del Toro is in negotiations star in The Predator, the reboot of the alien action movie series that Shane Black is directing for 20th Century Fox.
1980s mainstays John Davis, Joel Silver and Lawrence Gordon are producing.
Plot details are being kept hidden in mud but the new movie is said to be an ensemble piece anchored by the character to be played by Del Toro.
The actor and the studio have been dancing for months around this project but one challenge has been been De Toro's schedule. But that stumbling block looks to have been cleared and a February 2017 start date is being planned.

Niiiiiiice. I guess this is the Quinn McKenna character Black was talking about.

Filming pushed back to Feb from Oct, but that should be fine since it's not out til Feb 2018.

Now I really want to see a Predator with lithe and swift movements like the one in the first film again. If they can bag Andy Serkis for doing the Predator now, I'll be over the moon
