The cold shoulders look always annoyed me. It makes me think of high school designs I did thinking they were so cool only they look really stupid.

Well, it's the most unique feature on Sharon's white suit, so I was hoping they'd bring it over to MCU. Otherwise, Sharon would look like she's wearing BW's suit painted white.

Sidenote: I think Evan Rachel Wood would also make a good Sharon. Evan and Chris actually look great as a couple in their Gucci Guilty ads.

Such a shame Marvel kills off all its villains. It would have been nice to see Strucker with Satan's Claw or at least a fist fight between him and Fury.

So glad her MCU outfit isn't going to look like that. I mean that screams stripper and impractical where a boob can easily fall out in a fight. And the white isn't very stealthy for a field spy.

Strippers usually wear outfits that are much more revealing than that. It's extremely dated but doesn't expose any more skin than a low-cut blouse. And, contrary to what someone who has never worn a blouse or had breasts might believe, boobs don't just "fall out" of women's tops, even during strenuous activity. Even Janet Jackson had to have her top ripped off for that to happen.

Seriously, now. I'm a known Sharon-h8er. It shouldn't fall to me to defend her from unfair accusations of having a stripper-esque costume. At least she never wore anything really egregious during her comic book career...

Yes, having her zipper pulled down, because she just HAS to show off his ample cleavage, is so appropriate for a non-powered field agent. Remind me again which MALE hero in the MCU does that (and no, Thor and Hawkeye showing off their arms doesn't count).

and you can say it's different because she's a "non-powered field agent" as opposed to guys who absorb damage
but if you so badly need realism, and can't excuse these as superhero outfits, then she should wear this:

full body armor is getting so damn boring, just from a design standpoint alone. I'm all for getting rid of ridiculously skimpy outfits like Ms Marvel up there, but not at the expense of variety (nor do I think cleavage is some horrible, evil thing that must be purged).

Lol the reason why they go for these super tight uniforms for female SHIELD agents in the MCU is because, well, a huge chunk of the audience is going to be adolescent through young-adult males. I mean, come on: Nat taking down all of those Lumerian Star pirates and then walking away as the camera focuses on her ass; they aren't doing that for the kids

Though for the sake of being an Avenger now and Carter being "so average with nothing going for her". Recall the fact that, if anyone on the roster can shoot a pistol, it's her. Hawkeye relies on a bow while Nat relies on hand-to-hand combat. So yea, she does have a valuable skill set

I just watched TWS again tonight, and BW had her zipper way down when she was on the copter at the end of the movie with Fury. I didn't heard anybody saying how she looked like a stripper on the forum.

Nothing implies Sharon is better with a pistol than BW (a regular user and extensively trained) or even Maria Hill.
And being good with a pistol doesn't sound like a very valuable skillset in the world of MCU, to be fair.

One, that was stupid (and it's stupid when they draw her that way in the comics). And two, I can kind of justify it there since:

-She likely had to change really quickly (she was wearing business attire before that).
-It's a blink and you'll miss it shot.

As for Sharon's shoulder things, I don't consider them "oversexualized." I consider them to be a really dumb style/aesthetic choice on the artist's part.

In stripper clubs yes, but in hired ones for bdays or bachelor parties no. I went to a bday one ages ago and the stripper was wearing something like a super tight red catsuit that zips up from the front with her cleavage hanging out since that was what the bday boy wanted or requested. Look at the white Sharon suit again, boobs can fall out easily in a fight since it looks like she's not wearing a super supportive bra if this was irl. I've seen a couple of friends with smaller boobs in more supportive bikinis fall out.

Also that Captain Marvel pic excluding the high boots looks like what gymnasts would wear.

Apparently it's ok to hate Sharon around here as long as it's not Scarjo-Black Widow.

Yeah I don't like this Mockingbird suit design nor the boots and the material doesn't look good at all.

None of the MCU female suits look stripper to me, I only said Sharon's COMICS tight white suit with the cold shoulders looks stripper-ish.

So far we know MCU Sharon's an excellent marksman, we have yet to see if she's good in martial arts like her comic version.
