Civil War Sharon carter A.K.A. Agent 13 - Part 1

EVC was chosen to play Sharon because she starred in a struggling (now cancelled) ABC show. Revenge was never a hit but Disney apparently sees EVC as an up-and-comer who could benefit from being in TWS. Her acting skill (or lack thereof) and chemistry with Evans were secondary considerations.

Revenge was a hit, at least when she was cast. Ratings were higher than AoU or Agent Carter ever were.

I do share the opinion (suspicion) that EVC was cast for development/exposure by the the Disney machine much like there is a Disney kid cast on Dancing with the Stars every year.

With how allegedly EVC is Disney's favorite, according to you, you'd think they'd have done more to push her. You'd think they'd have made Sharon a bigger role in TWS. Or pushed to get her a cameo in AoU. Or brought her over to AoS for a guest spot. Or put her in any of the dozens of other movies they have in production.

You'd also think that, with nothing having come of it, and Revenge ending, that Marvel would no longer feel "saddled" with her and replaced her.

But suuuuure t: Favoritism.

Who knows the Russos are also directing IW so maybe if her performance is well received in CW she might be in it.

This reminds me of AoU where there was also a lot of people and felt like just a set up for CW and look how that clusterf#ck turned out and it didn't feel like a stand alone film. CW is the last movie of Cap's trilogy franchise that we are aware of so it should not feel like a set up for IW or/and other characters own franchises but should stand on its own. Actors shouldn't say that since it lowers the movie's stakes and tension like it did for AoU knowing there's another movie right after.

Yep I think CW will set up IW this is why I'm not expecting a happy ending for Staron I think Steve will fall in CW and rise back up in IW, if Steve gets a happy ending I think it will be after IW, Sharon in IW? with how many people will be in IW I think putting Sharon in IW would be overkill. The cast is already overbooked, Thor 3 will set up IW also Feige said so himself.

Yeah I foresee no happy ending in CW like in the comics too, but who knows. IW is two movies so maybe Sharon at least gets a cameo. Although I've no anticipation for IW since I'm not digging CGI-cartoon Thanos as a villain.

Well I don't know would there be time for a cameo with everything going on? something tells me some people will be killed to make room for others Vision/Wanda are the most likely ones to be killed off by Thanos, giving Vision the mind gem sealed his fate. Really I think Vision saving Wanda was just Disney/Marvel throwing a bone to the Vision/Wanda shippers, just like I think in CW they will be throwing a lot of bones to the Staron shippers.

Actually....a gif can count as pirated material. We don't allow moving scenes or single frame pics from pirated material. So if a gif had pirated material within, it would not be allowed.

I don't know if there's a website than chronicles every day of actors lives. There might well be.

But we've generally seen little since the start of filming. Just because there isn't pictures of EVC in Atlanta doesn't mean she isn't there or that she's still in LA.

Maybe they met on the CW set so I finally get that Sharon/Peggy scene.

M/M did the rewrite for TDW and I don't think they were able to salvage the script and Alan Taylor the director should go back to directing TV shows.

To save TDW, M/M would have had to have rewritten the entire script from scratch. It was unsaveable. If they can put out something as amazing as TWS, I trust 'em.
