Maybe they met on the CW set so I finally get that Sharon/Peggy scene.

M/M did the rewrite for TDW and I don't think they were able to salvage the script and Alan Taylor the director should go back to directing TV shows.

I think there were about 10 writers trying to salvage TDW. I don't think it ever recovered from the death of Don Payne and Taylor wasn't the director to re-shape or guide it.

After the seeming debacle of the latest Terminator maybe just maybe Marvel should get the benefit of the doubt in taking away final edit from Taylor for TDW. It could have been so much worse.

Whatever happens in CW, Sharon and Peggy are going to be important to each other. I have a sneaky suspicion that the Russo's & M/M may actually provide a story where a number of ladies get to shine. t:

Its interesting that on July 1st Hayley said she just met Emily...I guess they didn't really cross paths before. They were both at the Cap 2 premier but maybe didn't get a chance to talk.

Yeah, M/M tried to salvage it but I guess they just didn't get enough time. I agree, the direction is to blame too after seeing TG. But to be fair Emilia, and Jai were miscast and the writing was a convoluted mess. The action wasn't anything new.

Yeah, it was still possible for Sharon to be Peggy's niece, but great niece it is.

It's hard to believe that Hayley and Emily didn't cross paths at the IM3 or TWS premieres. EVC knew that her character was related to Hayley's. The cynic in me thinks this may have been a small P.R. move to extinguish some of the Sharon hate, if so it was Marvel's own fault in the first place.

Hmm, I don't know. I thought she was going back to the set from LA but according to her twitter she's been in Canada and is now in LA over the last couple of weeks.

She was in Canada? But it looks like she was only wishing people a Happy Canada day and that farm pic can still be in Atlanta, I'm not sure if they film over wkends.

She was definitely in Atlanta on June 16 until recently and now maybe she's back in L.A. only for the fourth of July wkend celebrations before heading back to Atlanta. If she doesn't head back then her role isn't big.

I'm pretty sure Sharon Carter will have a bigger role this go around. She doesn't have Revenge anymore and they were casting for CIA extras, so that's a plus.

I assumed she was in Canada from her photo of the farm from June 28th.

Yeah but she said that she would be filming until the end of summer and it isn't even half way thru summer, unless Russos aren't happy with her performance (hoping that's not the case). Anyway, we'll find out later this week if she goes back.

I didn't like him in TA, but that was bc of the writing and his AoU family story arc was rather boring, I thought Ultron would turn up at the farm and kill his family. I did like his interactions with the twins though, so more Wanda and Clint would be pleasant, if Clint's wife dies then I'm shipping Clanda or ScarletEye or HawkWitch or whatever portmanteau sounds best.

Well to me Clint was more of a mentor ala Up Close & Personal to SW. Yes, but the wifey might die in CW or IW.

Agreed, Clint is more like a mentor figure to SW. I hope Marvel doesn't set up HawkWitch just because people at Marvel feel sorry about how they treated Hawkeye. I'd rather see ScarletVision.
