I didn't think it was a confirmation but more like, "Stay tuned" type of tease. I do like the idea of a slow build for them, though. Just as long as we have a natural, organic build.

What does that say about Steve's character if he can't do the same? That he's some poor old sap that can't move on? Screw that. I'm ok with a forced Peggy appearance, but the Russo's aren't going to shove Steggy down everyone's throats just so Hayley Atwell can make another appearance. If Peggy makes an appearance in Infinity War, let it be a connection to something she did in her post-Steve Shield years, or something.

Sorry guys, but both Civil War and Infinity War won't be written by obnoxious Steggy shippers on Tumblr. Peggy was able to move on without Steve. What does that say about Steve's character if he can't do the same? That he's some poor old sap that can't move on? Screw that. Maybe it says that, unlike Peggy, he had to get over the presumed trauma of being frozen for almost 70 years and had to get used to 21st century things and people. And getting over that, despite being transformed into a specimen and being an acclaimed war hero, he has yet to develop dating skill competency. And that maybe throwing himself into work that he didn't completely trust or feel satisfaction in was his primary coping skill? Maybe it says those things.

Had Cap been unfrozen much earlier, say, after Peggy had gotten married, he would have more easily acclimated and moved on in his own approximate time.

He can get over Peggy. But he has much more than Peggy to get over.

And besides, M&M might run a tumblr for all you we know. Kidding.

Sharon shoots Peggy in the head. She knows her Aunt more than most. As "Peggy" dies, she reverts back to an ugly green Skrull alien that had taken the form of Peggy. Steve is now with Sharon. This foreshadows the next Avengers movie after Infinity War:

The scene with Peggy in AoU was already too much for me.
It doesn't feel natural anymore. At least, that scene showed that Steve changed and doesn't want to same things as he used too before the Ice. So I take it as he's over Peggy and it's about time. This character needs more grow, he needs to explore more things and you know meet more/new people.

If there's a cameo with Peggy, I hope it's about Sharon. It's about time Marvel acknowledges the Carter legacy.

Exactly. Zombie Peggy ate the banana and threw away the peel that Sharon would later slip on. Peggy explodes after the explosive laden nanites in the banana detonated in her stomach. May Peggy RIP. And if Peggy's still alive after eating the exploding banana, Rick Grimes comes bursting through the door and finishes her off.

Cool they are confirming that Sharon/Steve is happening in CW t:
According to the other interviews, they say they will take their time and I'm fine with that ! Slow building is great

The operative word here is SURPRISE, "surprise in the story". Why would it be a surprise when Staron was teased in TWS. Developing Staron and Sharon would definitely make CW feel like a continuation of WS for me (apart from the Bucky storyline). Maybe it's a surprise because of the Carter blood connection and/or CW seems too busy for a romantic storyline.

Hopefully the surprise isn't that Steve romances Scarlet Witch because I want her with Vision, not with Peggy because hello Agent Carter love triangle that Atwell mentioned in that CC panel, and not with BW because Brutasha happened. Joss can't take all the credit for Brutasha because in that EW article ScarJo mentioned that she also had a hand in that pairing.

Apparently Sharon wasn't mentioned in the Cap 75th Anniversary Special at all. Maybe they didn't mention her because most of the viewers are non-comics readers and they wanted the whole Peggy/Sharon and Staron reveal in CW to be a surprise.

If they didn't cast EVC as Sharon, I would've loved Margot Robbie in the role (I thought of her when I saw that amazing SS trailer) and she looks great in white. Her and Evans together would be one good looking screen couple!

Marggot Robbie was my 1st choice for Mary-Jane when TASM was till happening...
