Am I the only one who notices in the promo art Sharon has DD's Billy Clubs?

I thought they were garrote wire, but yes, they appear so.

Unfortunately it seems like Sharon is faced with a Catch-22.

She won't get a big role unless she becomes a popular character, and she can't become a popular character without a big role.

No other characters were in that position and it is a shame that she alone does.

I've resigned myself to the fact that Marvel will not be doing justice to Sharon and to just wait the 20-30 years when I'm of middle age for a reboot or whatever. It's Marvel's fault for only giving Sharon 3 mins of screen time in TWS and not getting her to interact with Steve more. I mean they could've gotten Sharon to tell Steve her real name, but nooo that was just too much for them and getting BW to say it felt like an afterthought.

Also I read somewhere that she indeed doesn't get much screen time in CW considering how packed it is, but it is more than the 3 minutes in TWS.

Yeah, I felt like they could have at the very least given most of Maria Hill's scenes to Sharon. I don't know about anyone else, but I couldn't give less of a crap about Maria Hill. If she wasn't played by that actress from How I Met Your Mother, I doubt I'd even remember her name.

I wonder if EVC will be joining the cast for the Jimmy Kimmel Q&A in April. Probably not, it'll just be the Avengers characters.

To be honest, I'd still be calling foul, but it'd have been slightly better.

First, it would have established Sharon is a Carter, both to the audience and to Steve, two years before they can develop a relationship in earnest.

As it stands, Steve will learn who she is and develop a relationship in a close span within Civil War.

And second, everyone I asked who didn't know the comics had no clue 'Sharon' was supposed to be anyone and their only takeaway from the whole deal with BW telling Steve to date her was that BW was a good bro.

It doesn't need a scene, it didn't even need her. All it would have taken is for BW to say 'Sharon Carter' when she'd said 'Sharon'.

Yes, because we were denied the look on Cap's face when he first heard her real name and the audience will most likely remember her real name if she said it herself.

Sharon looking good. I swear they should use this promo art design of her in everything because it looks the best and the others look like bad hatchet photoshop.

My personal guess, at the moment, is simply that her schedule ended up being such that she isn't/wasn't available for the show when Team Cap is on (that seems like the most logical reason to me - but that's just my opinion)

There's no way that was a consideration for any choices made in the film.
