Hype Survivor SHH! Survivor 28: I'm a Marvel, and I'm a DC - Issue #2: Gridlock!

Wow, so you got the final decision alone (once the results were in) on who wins or loses....

Hosts should never be judges and this is one of the reasons why.

Good job DC, I do like you grid.

I will take consolation that our grid actually won, and you guys won on the fact of SF's decision in the end.

This is our game, it is certainly our right to judge the challenges and the creativity within them that shapes this game. Being partial is wrong and that is why judges should never be partial. Neither of us were or will be partial during this game.

If you had won, you wouldn't care so don't be a sour puss.

that grid is going to be huuuge on the subsequent threads

so when will you guys post the next challenge?

The avy's were part of the challenge. You all knew that.

i still wouldn't have agreed with it

It's just like extra credit... if a kid has the highest test score in the class due to extra credit, he still gets rewarded for it.

Certainly not:cwink:

But, you all would be mad at whoever the judges were if you still lost.

nope

bamfer and hunter were great choices for judges, they've played or hosted in the past, have judged before and had a good idea of what criteria should be met

The avys were part of the challenge. Not just the grids. I awarded points to the team I thought had the better avy. I am sorry you disagree with my decision, but it was part of the challenge.

I can't control chase's points.

Yeah well I call BS on it on the fact it is just a still picture and doesn't represent anything to the game except it is one singular still picture to Marvel.

Don't waste your breath on replying because I don't care anymore.

Exactly. They were a bonus, and bonus points sometimes determine a challenge when both grids are close. They were in this case.

Now you know how I felt when my team in the last Survivor lost our grid challenge due to a technicality.

Congrats DC... from the judging and scores... this Survivor is going to be a good one.

It wasn't a decision made by hosts, who knew the score and carried the fate of who would win by himself, you submitted your results like 3 hours late which was completely against the stated rules.

But it was not noted how many points we'd be docked. As judges for a game where details matter... every single detail needs to be taken into consideration.

The avy's were 1/10 of the total possible score. Both teams didn't think that 10 measly points would matter. Marvel put more effort into an avy that had nothing behind it other than the title of the game. DC tried to be accommodate both judges but didn't do a good job doing so.

It said to make an avy that they thought we would like best. Neither tried to make an avatar that I would love to wear or SF would love to wear. I love X-Men and Spider-Man. Spider-Fan loves Spider-Man. At the end of the day, neither deserved any points for it imo.

Even if we weren't judges for grids, it still could come down to the avatar portion so whining that we judged the grids is frivolous.

Wow... way to lay down the law chase. You scared everybody away.
