Should they make another Punisher movie?

Agreed. The Toro Brothers were pure Garth Ennis, too, despite being original to the movie. Especially the smaller guy. He was just such a weasel.

anyways, I found War Zone today, the 2 disc one, for 4 bucks, brand new. I kind of died a little. But it beats having a downloaded copy. But i wanna watch it with commentary. For those who actually bothered to listen to it, was it any good?

From what I remember Alexander spent most of the commentary pointing out how things were copied from the comic or how critics didn't understand the comic. But the director of photography talks about some interesting and informative things.

I wanted to share this with you guys since there isn't a Punisher board anymore, I figured I would post it here. This is my .45 Caliber 1911 with compensator I bought a few weeks back. I had to get the Punisher grips for it.

Looks good. I'm a 1911 fan myself, though I do prefer them unadorned.

I usually do as well, but I love the 1911's from the 2004 movie and I made a joke to my buddy when we were going to the gun shop that if they have a 1911 with a compensator like the movie I'm getting. Sure enough they had one, so I bought it. I wish it was a Colt, but I can settle for a Charles Daly version. I had to get the skull grips for it too. I'm taking it out Tuesday to fire it for the first time.

I'm not really into guns, but it looks nice dude

When it comes to 1911s it being a Colt really does not matter to me. Many companies and gunsmiths are doing great things with them now. Right now my favorite 1911 is a Kimber but other cool ones I've had around have been Springfield Armory, S&W, Taurus (great cheap gun), US Palm and Chiappa.

Kimber's are really nice, but really expensive. They don't make 1911's, but a great gun company is Hi Point Firearms. They have carbines and hand guns real cheap and they get rave reviews.

I can see this turning into a gun conversation so I'll just throw in my two cents and try to move on. I'm a big fan of Springfield Armory and Taurus. I'm also a huge AK nerd and that includes it's derivatives such as the Saiga, Galil, Dragonov, etc. To me they are pretty much perfect guns. Simplicity in design is something I love.

i swear there is a Punisher and Batman crossover comic...i remember someone mentioning it

I don't recall, but I do think they have Batman beat the **** out of Frank.

I wish there'd be another Batman and Punisher crossover. They're my two favorites, and while the Deadly Knights storyline wasn't bad it definitely could've been much better.

The fight should be a fair one, always depends on the circumstances as to how they'd meet and how prepped either is.

I've been reading Ennis' run on the Max series lately, am up to The Slavers. Nobody writes Frank like Garth, that's for sure. The Slavers would be great for the next movie, and if you combined In The Beginning and Up Is Down And Black Is White into one movie you'd have an epic Punisher movie.

thing is that Frank should be able to take on Batman fairly easily with all the combat experience he's had. Frank should be a deadly hand to hand fighter with everything hes done.

I wouldn't say easily if they fought. It would probably be a drag out fight no matter who wins.

To be honest they are about equal in skill IMO.

I could care less about Punisher vs Batman, I want to see The Joker take on The Punisher! EPIC

yeah the difference between Frank and Batman is that Frank doesnt have that no killing rule so The Joker would be easily toast.

i think he already held the clown at gunpoint in DC VS Marvel, and Joker said
"You wouldn't!" with this terrified expression on his face. and Frank kept the gun there, i dont remember what he said
