How is brain-eating a concept to warrant an R-rating? It's just suggestion of violence, and there's plenty of that in movies, even PG. In an episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force (shown on Cartoon Network, late at night, but still...it's on television) Meatwad says "I'm gonna eat your brain!"
