The Spirit is arguably one of the most important comic creations and literary runs in the history of comics. Yes, he's a pretty big deal.

Whats worst a Frank Miller or Mark Miller Batman? Shoot if you thought Mark Miller Superman idea was bad imagine what he do with Batman. Do a wholel ife story for him too. Have him start as a child then all the way until the comic book Death of Batman were he dies.

why do people keep bringing up 300? miller had nothing to do with the movie. zack snyder is a "purist" but he makes changes too so it's not everything we saw in the book. just b/c snyder made 300 look good doesn't mean that miller by himself can do anything worthwhile now. he made dkr and did some good work on wolverine and daredevil, but he hasn't done anything good in the last 20 yrs. his batman: year one movie script sucked HARD. he shouldn't be anywhere near batman. another good example is his sequel to dkr. it sucked.

right but imagine if it wasn't even though the movie was phenomenal when u read the graphic novels and how dark and grim they are The Dark Knight doesn't come close. to be honest i think once they have cater to the younger audiences with all the mainstream superheroes they should reboot them all with an R rating and just go all out bloody, gorey darker and more intense. imagine if they made Wolverine like the video game. i would like to see Joker kill in the most goriest of ways to paint the silver screen red with his Joker gadgets. they only thing we got close to that was Jack Nicholson with the electric buzzer. one of my favorite Joker scenes from the 1989 movie.
