Regarding the WWE brand split that kicks off when SmackDown goes live on the USA Network on July 19th, there's been more talk within WWE that each show will have a World Title, one show will have the United States Title and the other will have the Intercontinental Title. Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that people are under the impression that the WWE Women's division will be exclusive to one show but that has not been confirmed. As of today, the WWE Tag Team Titles will likely be on both shows.

The Draft is scheduled for the July 11th RAW in Detroit. Alvarez also noted that many talents have no idea what is going on or where they will end up in the Draft.

There's also expected to be call-ups from WWE NXT to help fill the two main rosters. We noted earlier that WWE is expected to aggressively to pursue outside talents as they will now have four tours running at times - two with the main roster and two with NXT.

The decision to do the Draft and the split was just made within the last few weeks and some were told at Extreme Rules on Sunday. It should be noted that Vince McMahon is very excited about things and many ideas are being bounced around. It was noted that the one guarantee is that some plans will change between now and the Draft.

So will the Big Gold or Undisputed title return? Either one would be great but if the Undisputed returns, I hope it's bigger

RE Hunter's NXT tweet.... I'm watching NXT live on June 15th in the UK..... I hope most of the NXT stars are there! Hoping to see Finn, Nakamura, Asuka, Bailey..... be really disappointed if they're not there :(

I'm pretty sure that "The End" is just referring to the end of the Balor/Joe feud.

I cannot believe i just saw Al Snow get leveled with a chicken drumstick in 2016........

come on tna, that was easily a contender for worst wrestling moment this year

I think we may get some funny new chants on the next UK tour again given how smarky they tend to be.

Nakamura: "You don't understand Japanese, right?"
Aries: "I don't understand you."
Nakamura: "Yeah, me too."

Love that nonchalant Nakamura swag

crowd singing to Nakamura's theme was cool.

We are the mighty and the mighty don't kneel!

I'm guessing they couldn't just call TMDK, The Mighty.

Alexa with the sneak splash attempt and then the nope when Jax spotted her was funny.

I hope Tye Dillinger is one of the surprise NXT call ups

Is it wrong that I enjoy No Way Jose? I'm sure his gimmick will get old fast but for now I kind of enjoy it.

I wish Nia Jax would do some power slams, power bombs or scoop slams when she catches women instead of just holding them and dropping them to the mat. It is one of those areas in which you can tell she is still a bit green and not confident in her ring ability.

I apprentice Regal not cut a 20 minute promo to give an announcement like the main roster does.

"They've just played his jam and he's just vibin'." Tom you nerd!

Foley, Edge and Christian delivered a sick burn on Al Snow on this weeks episode of Table For 3.

"Is Al Snow dead?"
"No, Just his career"

Rob McCarron at Wrestling Inc thinks that the WWE will go after guys who have been in the WWE before but were let go like Drew Galloway and Ethan Carter.
Galloway and Carter did a shoot about how much the WWE sucks not that long ago.

Stranger returns have happened but I would be really surprised if either of those guys returned anytime soon.

anyone think this means anything major?
I think the NXT title may also be defended on Smackdown. As NXT is taped they could have the current NXT champ wrestle Smackdown or raw as well.

But guys like Moose, Roddy Strong, The Young Bucks, ACH, Adam Cole... all of their contracts expire between now and the end of the year except Cole, who is signed through April.

Not sure about the contract statuses of guys like Naito, Dalton Castle, Ishii, Goto, Omega, Rey Mysterio, Texano, King Cuerno, Mil Muertes, etc but they could easily be targets (maybe not Dalton Castle). Muertes is pretty old, so maybe not him
I love Dalton Castle but the WWE wouldn't let him do his homoerotic gimmick on their shows. Even TNA paired him up with women.

The Young Bucks have also talked about their dislike of the WWE a lot in recent years. I could only see them joining if fellow former Bullet Club members convince them it is worth their while.

We'll.. Remember that winged eagle belt we saw a while back and everyone thought it was fake.. Then some said maybe it was Seth's..

Maybe it's for SmackDown?

I remember concept art of a new winged eagle title for the urgent wwe title but not if another one was released online

Nattie's outfit in the gif above looks like it would fit right in at the Capital in the Hunger Games.

As for a second world title? I have mixed emotions. I say let the champ and woman's champ do both shows. Ditto for the tag champs. US and IC exclusive to one of Raw and SD like the original split.

However if they do bring back a second world title, I hope it's the big eagle. That belt has grown on me.

I still hope at some point Wyatt is world champion.

They tried that with the first brand split and it didn't work. It was killing the momentum of feuds. The champ would be in a feud with some guy on Raw and then on Smackdown they'd be feuding with some other person.

There's no need for two world titles. They just made a big deal of unifying the titles not too long ago.

Agreed. I remember that was one of the big issues with the original brand split.

If they really want to split to mean something they'll put John Cena on Smackdown and KEEP him there.

No matter what people think about him, he'd legitimize Smackdown.

There wouldn't be that big of an issue about having two world titles if A) We have brand exclusive specials/PPVs again or: B) The second world title gets to main event regularly.

To do this they'd have to beef up the rosters immensely AND make Smackdown 3 hours.

Not that I was this any longer as I do not have the time or desire lately. But I am curious if anyone has heard anything about HHH maybe taking full control over one of the shows like with NXT.

The second option I laid out is doable without making Smackdown 3 hours. If you're not getting any special/PPV main events then you're not a world champion. The significance of being a world champion is that you're a main eventer. If you never go on last at special/PPV then what separates the second world title from the other non-WWE WHC titles?

They'd just have to utilize the rosters better.

Remember there was a time during the Brand split when Smackdown had the better weekly shows and PPV's. The Raw Roster was filled with talent but it was being booked terribly.

We spend so much time complaining about how guys don't get proper pushes and aren't utilized properly, the brand split is the best way to do just that.

The only group that might be hurt by the brand spit are the divas. There are so few of them that splitting them up might dilute the division.

The tag team division should be on one brand and the women's division on the other.
