Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

I already knew how Eva Green is ever since I saw Casino Royale but damn she's "perrfuct" there.

Where have I seen this before.

Hollywood can't even get original in their exploitation of women. Pathetic and boring.

Seems like they're copying Eva's look and wardrobe from the comics just fine, and not ripping off Talia.

How does that image even connect with the Sin City poster? What, is that Batman image the only one that can depict a woman in a revealing white robe? If we're going to pursue down this path, than that image is ripping off Hamlet, so if anyone has the right to whine about the lack of originality, it's the Shakespeare estate (or the equivalent.)

As for the nipple business...out of all of the aspects to complain about in a film, that is the most petty and disturbing. Eva Green is gorgeousness incarnate; I hope that rumor is not true. Either way, she is still the most beautiful woman on the planet.

Well, Brolin just secured a major role (and I am not talking about Sicario).....and when it's time for him to promote this film, he'll vaguely talk about that other role, most likely saying "he's excited to play the role" but won't divulge any further.

Now can we get Rosario Dawson in a Marvel movie too?

No, 100% confirmation, but certain aspects of her breasts look dramatically different in recent nude scenes compared to how they looked in The Dreamers and other early films. In a GQ interview, a few years back, she mentions googling herself after The Dreamers came out and being horrified by how much people on the internet hated her nipples. So the logical inference is that she may have taken the criticism to heart.
The minor difference might be down to age more than anything else.

Watch 300, there is a close-up of her nipples in that. They don't appear significantly different from The Dreamers or even Camelot.

And Green doesn't strike me the sorts who would go for a cosmetic surgery. She sounds pretty disdainful of such things in interviews usually.

I am curious as to what the edited version of the poster will look like. lol.

Well the movie is going to fail.

...They got her hairstyle wrong.
And gof.. they forgot her earrings.

Meh...It might be good...regardless of the long wait since the first one. Just saying.

So it was the nipple all along. The new edited SAFE version is released and all it does is make the right nipple a little less pointy and makes the cloth covering the right breast a little less translucent.

So much fuss, all for a nipple
'Tis better to drown such "controversies" in tipple.

So they banned because of a nipple shown? I hope it's not banned in UK...

I hope they sell the "bad" one, its not horrible but it would be a fun conversation starter if someone asks "why that poster?" if they are over.

I am hoping for an official release; I kinda don't want to pay for an unofficial copy.

I'm glad Jessica Alba is getting work for her acting prowess.

Side by Side it is even more preposterous.

Seriously, MPAA rejected this over something so minor?

Not just the nipple, they covered up most of the under boob silhouette in the new version too.

a sin city poster banned. Rihanna at some fashion awards is showing everything and noone is jumping from bridges. the kids will be ok.

Censor Lady: I will not allow this costume on the air.
Frank Cross: Why not?
Censor Lady: Because you can see her nipples.
Frank Cross: I WANT to see her nipples!
Censor Lady: This is a Christmas show!
Frank Cross: Well, Charles Dickens would want to see her nipples.
Carpenter: I can't hardly see them nipples.
Frank Cross: See? And these guys are REALLY looking.
