Fox are usually cheap bastards so I'd guess 120mil at best.
I can see Fox using the flu and pirating as an excuse if this movie opens up less than expected and I'll call bulls**t on it.
Fun theory but I don't buy it. I just don't see a studio leaking their big summer tentpole. That's why they leaked it themselves to they could save face to their investors and the public. They knew they had no chance of getting the Box Office once Star Trek begin gaining buzz and receiving very positive reviews from early screenings. The whole "leak" sitaution was nothing but an industry con.
I'm guessing the Titanic part of your post was meant as a joke.

I'm predicting a 60 million opening, and it'll be pretty much forgotten when Star Trek opens. It'll gross about 90-100 million total in the US, plus an additional 50 million world wide. With a budget of $150 million, it'll barely break even in terms of gross, but I think Fox will actually take a loss on it in terms of profits.
'Wolverine' starts strong at midnight
Fox appears to have a good jump on the weekend opening for its Hugh Jackman starrer "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," which registered at least $4.5 million in midnight Thursday performances in the U.S. and Canada.
The studio was still culling through preliminary data Friday afternoon, and the witching-hour's tally may run as high as $5 million when finalized. Though hardly a record, that should offer some comfort to anyone at Fox still worrying whether the pricey tentpole will be hampered by lost business from a pirated copy of an early version of the film that's been circulated widely over the Internet.
Studio execs suggested they will be happy with a domestic haul anywhere north of $70 million through Sunday. Prerelease tracking seemed to indicate an opening of $80 million-plus.
"Wolverine" also launches in 101 international territories this weekend the first frame in the summer boxoffice season.
True but the legs are going to kill it afterwards. The wam-bam boxoffice game never pays off in the end. Sure it's going to start huge but it's going to drop off like nobody's bussiness and end with less than alot of people thought. I'm not talking about the critics when I say this...I don't think that the average moviegoer is going to care for this movie very much.Your estimates are way off. It's heading for nearly 90 million this weekend, never mind total US gross. Your hate is clouding your judgement big time.

Considering opening night was only 5M...I doubt 110M.
