Are you sore that Wolverine has and will make more that Star Trek worldwide?
Ummm,
actually... it's Star Trek that's made more money worldwide. It has $363.8M to Wolverine's $360.6M currently, but you never know, that could change. Unless you're referring to their
international takes, but WW means that plus domestic, hence ST's slight lead currently. WO has done $177.4M domestically & $183.2M internationally, while ST has done $240.8M domestically & $123.0M internationally. Here's the link:

Either way, it doesn't matter, as they've both done well. I'll be the first to admit, I'm surprised at how good WO has done. It's international numbers helped considerably, and with Japan still to come in September, it could possibly hit the $200M mark in that respect.
I do, however, believe Trek will remain in the lead and will only increase the margin as time goes on. Here's why,
LEGS! ST has some serious legs, check this out:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2009&wknd=25&p=.htm ... It lost 331 theaters, but... actually gained a scant 1% in weekend revenue over the previous weekend. Trek could just maybe see $400M WW if the trend continues.
They'll both be trounced by TF2 & Potter though, everyway you slice it, domestically, internationally, and worldwide. Up will beat Trek for leading pic domestically before then, by the end of this coming weekend probably. Hangover will likely knock Wolvie down a peg by the same time as well, and it may eventually be climbed over by Museum also. WO should finish the year still in the top 10 grossers, with ST staying in the top 5, domestically speaking.
