Bale is 6'1 so Dent will be 6'3?

*clears throat* clive owen is 6'2 1/2" -- eric bana is 6'3"

Ryan Phillippe should be Dent......atleast I think.

Guy Pearce all the way baby, but if not him, I'd settle for Phoenix or Liev.

Jake Gyllenhaal? Oh please, I'd rather have Bert or Ernie...

My vote's for Liev Schreiber- Gyllenhaal just looks way too kid-like for the role.

Guy Pierce doesn't even want to be in a Batman movie. He called it "absurd".

I would cast myself, because I need the money.

LOL . . . indeed. I'd settle for beeing an extra cop or a thug. At least I'd get some close up action of Bats kickin butt.

Oh man really? That depresses me, cause I thought he was top notch material..

Yeah man. He was quoted in an interview as saying it. Apparently he thinks he's too much of a top notch actor.

Holy ****, I'm all for Liev Schreiber, and I didn't realize there was so much other support for him

even the people who didn't vote for him mentioned him as a second or third choice

pacino would be awesome as harvey, as would de niro, but there too old now, if they were younger though, they'd be my top choices.
No way, not even when they were younger. Dent's supposed to be a very good looking guy, which is something Pacino and Deniro never really had going for them

You're kidding right? Tell me you don't see Dent in young Pacino?:

Dear. lord. now that's one fugly Harv.

I think Nicholas Lea would be a far better choice

I wanted Gyllenhaal but he loses out with Ledger as the Joker
because it will be madness on the gay jokes if this two are cast
together again.

Most women will tell you that they would've loved to bone a young Robert De Niro. He was considered very handsome in his day. I don't know about Pacino, but I don't think he's all that ugly.

There is a huge difference between handsome and sexy(bone-able). ;)
And De Niro will always be bone-able.

Liev Schreiber. If you've seen The Manchurian Candidate, you know he would do wonders in this role. He looks not just like Tim Sale's Dent, but just plain how I would expect the D.A. of a major US city to look. He's also got a deep, commanding voice which Dent needs, and which is my major gripe with someone like Jake Gyllenhaal getting the role.

Seriously though, can't you just picture Liev Schreiber on the roof with Batman and Gordon? He just seems like he'd fit in with those two more than many of the choices so far. Phillipe would look so out of place there.

i totally agree

Phillippe has worked with far more respected actors than Oldman and Bale.

Okay I can see the Bale comment . . . but Oldman? Yes there may be actors who are more "respected" but that doesn't mean they're better actors by any means. The man could have been anybody and everybody in that movie and it still would have kicked a$$! And in his younger years Oldman would have made an awesome Joker! Riddler! or Ras' Al Ghul!

Gosford park.

And I consider Bale just as good as Oldman. Oldman has just been doing it longer and, therefore, is more respected.

I think Heath will bring a great twisted side of the Joker. Also, I think Liev should be Two-Face.

Ugly, have you read the long haloween, he's hardly good looking in that, but i see your point Harvey is genrally agood looking guy, that said i still think Deniro and Pacino are good looking blokes (from a male point of view)
