My girlfriend's this big actress. She's in plays all the time. It's like she's Mary Jane or something, but I never miss her show do to a criminal threat facing New York.

Anyway in her new play she plays a lesbian. And she has to kiss another girl. More than once. It was very uncomfortable and intimidating. I've never had that fantasy about her and another woman. I'm not that guy. I just assumed I'd never like it. Now, I know it. Any man who wants to see his girlfriend get it on with another woman is either kidding himself or not actually in love.

In another interesting note, the people involved with this play went on a publicity quest and went around advertising the play. They asked local businesses to put up posters and whatnot. Check this out. They were kicked out of the Salvation Army. Another fine organization. They were kicked out because something about doing an "abomination as entertainment" or some intelligent remark like that. Also, the girl who plays my girlfriend's girlfriend (the girl who plays my girlfriend's girlfriend...say that three times fast) her own family refused to come to the performance. America, it never ceases to surprise me.

Yeah I have a strict no touching policy between girls when I bring them home. *yucky*

Any man who wants to see his girlfriend get it on with another woman is either kidding himself or not actually in love.
Or...is very different from you. Did you know that there are lots of very, very different people on this planet, who feel differently about things than you do?
It's so weird!

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
Oh, baby don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more

What is love
Yeah

Oh, I don't know why you're not there
I give you my love, but you don't care
So what is right and what is wrong
Gimme a sign

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more

Whoa whoa whoa, oooh oooh
Whoa whoa whoa, oooh oooh

Oh, I don't know, what can I do
What else can I say, it's up to you
I know we're one, just me and you
I can't go on

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more

Whoa whoa whoa, oooh oooh
Whoa whoa whoa, oooh oooh

What is love, oooh, oooh, oooh
What is love, oooh, oooh, oooh

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more

Don't hurt me
Don't hurt me

I want no other, no other lover
This is your life, our time
When we are together, I need you forever
Is it love

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more (oooh, oooh)

What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more (oooh, oooh)

What is love?

you are aware that the salvation army is a christian faith-based organization, right?

Yeah. I'm also aware that Christians say "Love Thy Neighbor" I don't remember there being an asterisk at the end of that statement though.

Or...is very different from you. Did you know that there are lots of very, very different people on this planet, who feel differently about things than you do?
It's so weird!
No s**t? People think differently than me? Thanks for pointing that out, because for a while there, I thought we were all on the same page.

on a side note am i the only one getting pissed off that girls in clubs use the whole lesbo thing to simple tease blokes

come on thats just not right. :( getting our hopes up like that

Then maybe you're aware of their position on homosexuality? You're not talking about an individual; you're talking about a play that features themes they consider godless. How in the world could you honestly say that their reaction is surprising?

Then where do you get off saying, "Any man who wants to see his girlfriend get it on with another woman is either kidding himself or not actually in love"? Sounds like someone feels his "masculinity" is threatened.

it sure sounded like you didn't realize that when you said, "Any man who wants to see his girlfriend get it on with another woman is either kidding himself or not actually in love."

Because it's the 21st Century. So if there were a homeless person is desperate need of help, the Salvation Army would turn them away if they were gay? Maybe it's not surprising, but it's certainly not right.

Why does that surprise you? The Salvation Army is an evangelical Christian organization based off a branch of Christianity that refers to themselves as "Salvationists." Did you really think they'd support something like that?

I shouldn't have said that. It was wrong with me. I jumped to conclusions and I hate it when people do that. The more I thought about what I said, the more I realized I was being an ass. All I can do now is apologize. I am sorry. I should not make broad generalizations like that. What I should have said was something along the lines of "any man who wants to see his girlfriend get it on with another women is someone who is into something different that I just can't get into." Serious, I really am sorry. I was a dick and you called me out.

Very true

USA, UK, Europe...it happens all the time

Once again, we are not talking about individuals or charity and mercy, so drop these weak hypotheticals that revolve around individuals. We are talking about promoting and marketing a play that contains themes antithetical to christian beliefs and your being dumbfounded that a christian organization wouldn't be a party to promoting something that goes against their core beliefs.
