Did everyone in your theater go "awwww"?

Not really... It's not Bambi's mum or anything.

But you could feel that moment of shock in the room.

The first time I went to see it, yeah--plenty of people did. I was like what the..? so no sounding reaction from me..

I already knew what was going to happen, just like batman...... jim gordon is important toooo,.

oh you clever people

Well, I suppose most of the people in the theater when I went weren't active batfans because they apparently didn't realize that Nolan would probably be set on fire if he actually killed Gordon in the movie.

I wish mods were more strict when it comes to hotlinking but oh well :whatever:

I was yelling inside. "What!? How in the **** are you going to kill Gordon? Naw, there must be something up." But when they notified his family I was awestruck. "Wow, Nolan actually killed him off, didn't see that coming..."

He wasn't even commissioner yet, so I wasn't fooled. But if Nolan had killed him on us for real, I woulda been hella pissed.

There was alot of footage of Gordon from the trailers that had not been in the movie yet so I never thought he was dead.

I did until I remembered that he was in the interrogation scene. I tell you what it's cool and all being in the loop with the spoilers forum but it sorta ruined that surprise for me.

*in the IMDb forums--not here :whatever:

That's what soothed me. When I thought about the fact he hadn't been promoted yet, I was better.

I knew they wouldn't kill him.

Also this is part of what makes me think Harvey's still alive.

Not many people cared when he died, but when he came back everyones like

WTF HOLY ****

I went WTF NOLAN! YOU CAN'T KILL GORDON!

People in the cinema said "Shut up"
