I spent the weekend with friends I hadn't seen in years, and it totally threw my schedule off.

But, I think we're good for finishing up the regular season by the 19th.

Why the 19th? Because GL and I will be at Comic-Con. After we return, I'll get the post season threads up. (Besides, we were taking a bye week off between regular and post season anyway.)

I'll try to get my votes and write ups in tonight or tomorrow night. It's been busy this week with my brother coming up from Florida (I'm in Ohio) so I've been spending a lot of time with him. He's gone now though so I should have time once I get back from the Flea Market.

Wow the DTL has been very quiet of late...

Where is everyone? The discussions have ceased and everything.

I went to watch Predators the other night....its appauling...dont watch it...you cant get that time back...

Im a big fan of the first 2 and this one was just rubbish...poor cast...poor dialogue...poor plot...poor film....

Anyone read anything new of late or watch any decent films/tv shows?

I watched all of season 4 of Dexter over the last week. It was brilliant. Also am currently doing my best to watch all of Bones before Comic-Con...

I've been watching Top Gear, and immensely enjoyed this year of Doctor Who. Does that count?

As for films, I might be going to see Inception next week while at Con. But I'd almost rather just hang out with friends and go to panels than go on vacation just to see a movie.

I'm looking forward to the Expendables. No matter who bad that movie is, it's still going to be awesome!


So, what does everyone think about David Tennant possibly taking over for Bruce Banner?

i can see it...I always pictured banner being skinny and weedy and I think Tennant could do a good job of that TBH...

A little saddened by the news that Edward Norton won't be returning to the role. Liked him as Bruce Banner and think he's a splendid actor. I understand Marvel's motivation, but they could've handled it a lot better.

As to what I've been doing lately? Watching a lot of Seinfeld (got the complete series boxset some time ago) and trying to enjoy the summer despite the tropic heat. Also, World Cup Football (sadly, no number one). A few months behind on my comics, so there's a big order coming in soon.

Yes, it was an ugly battle. Not as bad as Holland/Portugal from a few years back though, fortunately.

Ok, so, because of having to deal with my malfunctioning car, the malfunctioning Hype, and other thing that may or may not be malfunctioning, I'm not going to be able to finish up the regular season before Con starts this week. I had intended to get the Week 10 transactions done today so I could post the battle, but I ended up being out all last night.

So enjoy a little vacation as I'll be gone from tomorrow until next tuesday with only my phone for browsing the web. (Which means I can still read and make short posts.) When I get back, I'll close down week 9 and start week 10 up. So, let's say that week 10 transactions are due one week from today, and I'll get the last match of the regular season up next tuesday.

Unless we're all good with sticking with the lineups we all posted. If so, I'll start the battle thread for week 10 tonight, and we can have a nice long week, or more, to plot.
