Sons of Anarchy - Part 1

According to Facebook, there's supposed to be a first look at S6 tonight during the premiere of The Bridge.

Saw it a few minutes ago. Really took me by surprise. Awesome little preview; very intense. I wish I could see it again and now I'm pumped for the season to start.

Wow! Looks like there is going to be full on anarchy in the club this season. Tigs swinging at Jax. Clay trying to take Jax down. Gemma and Tarra going at it with Bobby trying to break them up. Juice caught in the fray. I like how they do these metaphorical teasers. Last season had Jax driving off a bridge and it was definitely fitting given his decent last season.

:awesome::up:

Yeah those slow-burn metaphorical teasers are perfect for this show. Even though I only caught it once, I thought this one was even more effective than Season 5's "Brother" teaser. Juice looked terrified being caught in the fray and Clay looked vicious and desperate which is notable considering his general resignation through most of last season.

Is Tig swinging at Jax, though? I can't tell whether he's aiming for him or Clay...

Though, I guess that's something we'll find out this season.

Looks to me like Tig was swinging for Jax but missed as Jax was being shoved down by Clay. You can tell by where he's looking as he throws his fist.

After last season Tig has every reason to swing at Jax so I'd say Jax is his target. Tig isn't happy with him.

Clay has his cut back as well. That's interesting.

Why would Tig not be happy with Jax? Jax saved his ****ing life last season! I'd say if anything Tig will have Jax's back through thick and thin from now on. If not then that's just dumb. Tig clearly turned his back on Clay a while ago now. That closeup shot of Pearlman is just hilarious though. The looks on his face is just great

Yup.

Jax pretty much saved his ass 2-3 times. Once in prison (Opie!), from Pope and from the post-Pope hit squad. Hell, Jax even put a cherry on top by giving him the satisfaction of gunning down Pope for his daughter. Jax owns that ass.

Speaking of Jax. Who the hell is he fighting? He's so into it that he doesn't seem to notice that Clay is riding him. lol

Himself.

I think that maybe the backhanded way that Jax gave Pope to Tig might make Tig uneasy around Jax. Jax has plans within plans and you can't quite trust a guy who does things so slyly like that.

Well, I see what you're saying and I will agree to an extent but I mean, this is the life all these guys have chosen to live and they know what they're into most of the time. Tig may be hot headed but he's smart. He may have been scared ****less after Jax pulled that hit on Pope off in the finale but I got the sense that no matter how upset he was, he really understood that Jax always had his back and I mean come on, Jax let Tig get his revenge. I understand that with a lot of Jax's actions as of late that a lot of the club are questioning what he's doing but guys like Tig, Happy, Chibs, Phil etc. I think at this point in the narrative they are all on Jax's side right now. It anybody might be upset with Jax I would say Juice would be for getting him to turn on Clay

Fun trailer! I thought it was going to be an actual clip from the show, but after watching it, I don't think so.

Regarding Tig's loyalty to Jax, I always got the impression it was done begrudgingly. Like, he basically pays Jax the unwavering loyalty because he owes him huge, (which is exactly how Jax planned it) but at the same time Tig's not entirely sure about where Jax is going with things and whether or not following him is the right decision. At this point Tig has no choice, but a shift in power could change things, I think.

Yes, that's the way I saw it too. Well put. And yes, that promo wasn't an actual clip but just a metaphorical clip similar to this: [YT]http://youtu.be/pN-UF1miyWo[/YT]

The clip was totally a metaphor. The club has been dysfunctional since the end of S1 but perhaps this season it gets totally ripped apart.

I'm still most interested in Clay's state of mind going into this season. He seemed so resigned to his fate through much of last season and the final betrayal by Gemma and Juice really crushed him. Sitting with the other inmates he looked lost and defeated. I wonder if he will lash out similar to the way he has in seasons past. The promo seems to suggest as much.

It's so difficult to tell what's going on in Clay's mind, which is great. Even in his most pitiful, seemingly genuine moments, you never really know for sure if he's speaking the truth or just vying for sympathy. I can't ever help the nagging thought that the guy's a snake, and always will be.

By the end of last season I felt bad for Clay, and I didn't think that was at all possible after he killed Piny.

Honestly, I believe Clay was being contrite this past season. I think a lot of the evil deeds he's committed had finally caught up with him and he started to see where all those years of "the ends justify the means" and militant "whatever it takes" line of thinking have left him. His tunnel-vision had cleared.

We'll see if that changes now that he's in prison and has a hit out on him.
