Sons of Anarchy - Part 2

True that. I dunno though, is this all gonna be just subtextual stuff or is the homeless lady actually the chicks mom who has had amnesia the last 20 years or whatever. I would kinda rather her be left out of the story for the main part but I do like the idea of Jax helping out her family.

One thing I'm noticing, after Unser mentioned how people grieve. Some of these characters don't really grieve believably. We only really saw Tig just go cold and cap that guard's wife last season and Roosevelt has barely cried over the loss of his wife and kid. Come to think of it, Roosevelt should have taken on Torric's role or something. He cried when she died and he did some shady stuff after the fact but I really expected to see him go on a full downward spiral an out for revenge. Now he's just Jax's lap dog. Kinda sad for the character cuz when he was introduced in season 4 I for sure thought he was taking over Hale's role after he was killed in season 3.

We barely see Roosevelt. I just figured he grieved off screen. Balanced people generally don't act like Torric.

Well, I just thought he was gonna end up being a bigger character and end up trying to take down the club after what happened to his wife but all he did was get himself in business with the club after everything last season.

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention -did anyone else notice Charlie Hunman's accent slip? He said the word "update" at one point in his natural tongue. His American accent isn't great to begin with, but what he does manage tends to stay consistent enough that it can be ignored. I guess a word or two is bound to sneak through now and then.

Like I said, his accent's not great to begin with. Usually it's not so blatant though, "update" really stuck out this time around.

After fighting Nero Hunnam's accent also slipped when he said, "She's the reason we're trying to kill each other."

Well technically Roosevelt, already had his vengeance when the Nomads that killed his wife were taken down by Jax and the crew last season. He understands that Jax didn't make that call originally with the Nomads, that was Clay. I think Jax and Roosevelt have a mutual understanding because of that. So he has no reason to take them down.

They're building their version of the Clay/Unser relationship. Plus I think Roosevelt believes Jax is trying to go legit but there have been of course complications.

He also spoke the word "distribute" awkwardly at least twice recently that I caught. Not like an American would, :p

I do realize this all I was saying is that it was unexpected. Him helping them cover up the murder and setting up Clay at the end though? I didn't really expect that from him but it is what it is. Just not where I was expecting the character to go. You are correct though. He is more of an Unser now than a Hale

Oh now I'll see where you're coming from. I see Roosevelt as a mixture of Unser and Hale. He's a straight lawman, but he realizes there are worse evils than dealing with the Sons.

I am on Tara's side. simple as that. Tara dis what she thought was right, Gemma is an evil *****, probably why john started seeing that lady in belfast.

This thing with Jax and Tara is so ugly now it's physically painful to watch. I can't understand why he doesn't ask himself why she felt she had to do what she did. No, he slinks off to sleep with his new girl instead. :( If Sutter is wanting me to dislike Jax, he is doing an outstanding job of it. :(

It's not been a literal transformation, but the show has done a good job of turning Jax into Clay as one despicable dick.

The same thing happened when I watched The Sapranos and I couldn't even make it through the last season. I couldn't care less if Tony died. I don't want to feel that way about Jax... but I am starting to. :(

What a fascinating episode this was. They took so many things, put them all in a box and shook it up.

Heaven only knows what Tara is going to do. She has nowhere to turn now. 3 episodes left and they are really ratcheting up the tension now. Holy s**t I love this show. Best god damn thing on television.

Nero has been such a great addition, if everyone would just listen to the cholo pimp, everyone's life would be so much less hectic.

lol at Happy eating chow mein and laughing at a cartoon while handcuffed to a pipe.

He is truly great and the best addition to the show. :) He's so mellow.

Gosh I can't see this season ending well for anyone.

I just hope Galen eats it.

I actually thought Tara was going to blow her brains out in front of Jax, maybe she'll do it next episode. Not many options left for her. :(

Well, that's a wrap for Tara. If she's going to pull a Shane Vendrell. Let's leave the kids out of it. Assuming Jax doesn't know about Gemma's role in John Teller's death. Might as well let him know now.

Sucks to be a bike if your owner is Juice. lol

Everything could go in the Sons favor next week. They officially get out of the gun business after Clay is freed. The Chinese come in and kill Galen for the club. No blow back on the club from the IRA. The DA has her trophy. Somehow after that entire mess is settled, August gets what he wants & Tig lives.

He was handcuffed to a pipe?!?! What the hell?

Just precautionary measures to make sure he stayed in place til this deal went down. It didn't phase him. He was happy to be there. :o A good meal and some cartoons. The Chinese looking at him like he's crazy.

there may still be hope that Jax, might agree with Tara that he has screwed her life up beyond repair, and the boys shouldn't be around the current life he's living? I didn't see murderous rage in Jax eyes when he saw Tara, she really just blew it by not being upfront with Jax, who knows he may have worked something out to move Tara and kids to the next town over or something. Tara is just broken right now.

Also, those were some of the most reasonable and level headed Italian and Chinese gangs I've ever seen on TV. :woot:

Jax isn't going to kill Tara or have her killed. Gemma would and might, but Jax wont. Hes not that heartless or blinded to not be able to see that Tara (the woman he loves a LOT) has a point about the necessessity of leaving and fears him and doesn't respect him anymore. He's going to help her and his children.

I don't think Jax will kill Tara either, but at the same time he was so forgiving of his mom, like she is an innocent in all this when she really isn't. The three of them really need to sit down and hash all this out. :( I just don't see what Tara has left now.
