Sons of Anarchy - Part 2

Actually the way Tig killed him and pissing afterwards I feel like they wanted to create some imagery like he actually did rape that dude. Don't really want to explain what I mean and not sure anyone knows what I'm trying to say.

I get what you're saying. Visually he basically did rape him lol

Tig is going to be in some s**t if that body ever pops up. You know it's going to happen too and add to the list of problems that's going to sink the club once and for all.

I hadn't thought about the gun being connected to the club, that's going to cause some major drama. Thinking about it more, putting a straight-up school shooting in the show is one ballsy move. Short of actually showing the violence first hand, Sutter and co really took a risky bet on that one. Heck, in this day and age I'm actually a little surprised they got away with it -remember that episode of Hannibal being pulled from the air even though it totally didn't have anything to do with a school shooting? Different networks, but still.

I was thinking of this as well. Maybe Sutter thought he could get away with it because by making Jax feel bad about it is like saying we have a gun problem we need to fix, instead of making the shooting look cool.

Does the prison clause not apply when it's the old lady that is locked up?
Not if she has only been in a week and has a bail hearing the next day, lol. She is getting out at least for a while. :p

Yeah, I wouldn't be letting the youngin's watch this. Watching Tig's kid burn was cringe worthy. :(

For the record, I was (mostly) joking about the prison clause.

Oh Hai, We Like To Complain Alot

It's a 10 PM show on a cable network. If your kids are watching this show, it's your problem as a parent, not the show's problem.

Yeah, maybe parents should start raising their own kids instead of relying on the TV to do it. Anyway, I know network TV and basic cable has gotten "worse" over the years, but I had HBO growing up, and even though I would stay up late with my brothers and our friends to watch anything that had "nudity" in the description on HBO, I turned out fine. I went to school. I have a steady job. I'm married. I've never killed anyone or sexually assaulted anyone, even though my dad used to let me watch rated-R movies (I remember him taking us to see a Nightmare on Elm Street movie at a drive-in; I guess it helped that my dad started having kids in his early 20s and wanted to watch the movies as much as we did).

The difference is, your dad didn't let you watch it and then complain to the network. He let you watch it and took responsibility, like any half decent parent. The problem with these idiots is, they let their kids watch something that looks like it was written by Garth Ennis, then whine as if it's someone else's fault. "Your show about a violent criminal biker gang was too violent for my 8 year old!" People like that need something better to occupy their time...like...I don't know...spending time with their kids?

In conclusion, Donnie's dad is rad.

You make a great point. I remember some parents pitching a fit because they let their kids go see a new superhero movie they had never heard of, and were then very surprised to learn that an R-rated film called "Kick-Ass" wasn't as much like Spider-Man as they thought it would be.

Yea I remember my parents taking me to see T2 Judgement Day at the drive in and my dad always laughing his ass off at the 3-boobed chick in Total Recall. Movies and games don't mess kids up. It's all a combination of personality traits, genetic predispositions and environmental/social factors that go into making a kid a psycho. Has absolutely zero to do with violent movies or games or hell even being around guns as a kid. I know hundreds of people who grew up hunting with their parents who are just regular people. It's normal here. But I will say that a lot of the times these psychotic youths do seem to gravitate to violent games and movies and the such. Still though, they way people sensationalize all this stuff is just dumb and feeds into more than any type of entertainment ever has

Really strong acting in this episode. Charlie was fantastic in the scene near the beginning when Gemma told him that Nero wanted to talk to him about the school shooting. You could see from the look crossing his face that he knew then and there exactly what happened but was wishing he didn't. There was shock, panic and complete sorrow all in that one look he shared with her.

Both Ron and Katie were also incredible in the prison visit scene. Those two characters playing off each other is magnetic. It was fascinating to see Clay completely stripped and wearing his heart on his sleeve. We've seen him being contrite toward the end of last season, but this time it was different. This time it wasn't contrition borne out of guilt, panic, or resignation, but out of love. There was something incredibly calm and pure about the way he talked to her--Gemma couldn't even dare to look at him. She pulled a Clay and stuffed those feelings down and replaced them with anger. Toric's use of sonnet 116 fit perfectly with Gemma and Clay...didn't see that coming. Beautiful acting.

I can't wait to see what Clay has to say to Jax...

Uhhhh were they saying Jax turned Tara in?

That was just Gemma being Gemma. Putting her BS spin to the situation. When the two hugged it out. You can tell that Tara wasn't buying it. Hopefully that lawyer isn't reporting all of it back to Gemma. It looks like Tara is going to turn rat to bring down the club or Gemma, depending on exactly she gave up, in hopes of avoiding prison for the nurse's murder. And she might be pregnant again.

Two more to go for Bobby to get his NOMADS up and running. He'll eventually stop by Redwood to pick one or 2 members from SAMCRO. Juice is the obvious choice since I think last night was the last straw for him. Tig & Chibs are the other two that I'm looking at as possibilities.

This Nero partnership isn't going to last long after last night.

Can't wait to see Clay, Jax & Lee.

Jax and Nero definitely are on shaky ground now but I think that they'll stick together in the end.

I still think Juice is gonna give something huge to Clay to make up for betraying him. He'll never make it to Vegas.....he may not want to at all.

Last night was another great episode. This show has been on an entirely different level since Season 4. S4, 5 and so far 6 have been far and away better than The first 3 seasons. This is such amazing television.

Love seeing Kev from Shameless on SOA! I ain't gonna lie, I got excited seeing him. Dunno why, he's just so much fun any time he's in a movie or a show

Randomly wandering YouTube last night has shown me what Tara is up to..... She's having it off with the lawyer. (I have to warn people that the trailer I saw for this movie was very NSFW and definitely not for kids)

In all seriousness..... I think Tara has finally reached her limit of death and Gemma...

Damn Juice!

Jax just gets sneakier and sneakier...shame it's all going to come crumbling down around him eventually. I like the poetry of Jax becoming more and more Clay, despite his (genuine?) desire to go straight.

Jax is going to hit rock bottom this season, I think.

The whole thing with Tara divorcing him isn't going to end well for anybody.

Good ep. Looks like Jax is continuing with the forced heroin injection tactic to get things done. I feel kind of sorry for Juice. Looks like hes pretty much resigned to doing the club's dirty work. Its amazing how much more ruthless Jax has become when he feels the situation calls for it.

I think Lee might be self medicating to treat Multiple Sclerosis.

Looks like Nero's taken the title of Gangster with a Heart of Gold from Jax.

What's wrong with you, man? Are you all right? Did you hit your head and get a concussion or something?

Perfectly fine... There is a movie coming out at some point in the near future where Maggie Siff plays a woman who has an affair with another woman.... Played by the lawyer in SoA....I'd post a link to the trailer, but the only version I've seen is a 'red band' that would earn me a VERY quick banning...

That's funny, the gal who plays the lawyer also played a lesbian character in Deadwood. I see a trend here.... :p
