Sequels Spider-Man 4 and 5 Shooting At The Same Time?

in the classic Spidey comics, there were big stories that lasted more than one Issue. Take Bart Hamilton being the Green Goblin for example. That lasted qutie a few issues. So, I think that we can think of these two films being filmed togeather as a big story in the films. This is just a tohught that came into my head t.hugh.

so...if this IS true I wonder what the story arc will be. OBVIOUSLY, the Lizard has to be involved in some shape or form. The character of Curt Connors has been around for the last two movies. MAYBE we will get that Kraven/Lizard movie. MAYBE the first movie will introduce Kraven but actually focus more on Connors turning into Lizard. Then the second is Kraven taking the spot light and hunting down Lizard.

I like the sound of this, make the storyline develop over these films so it isn't rushed. SM3's main problem.

Since Zodiac was brilliant, I have faith in Vanderbilt to really make this a good film.

My excitement level will all depend on the news coming in the near future. About who is on board and who isn't as well as who the villain/s will be.

Back to Back films at the same time is a bad idea unless it's called Lord of the Rings. They better make sure that script (s) is perfect before they decide to film 'em.

Why would anyone believe that they're filming the movies back-to-back, when Avi Arad and Raimi has contantly said SONY takes these films 'ONE' movie at a time?

MAYBE we will get that Kraven/Lizard movie. MAYBE the first movie will introduce Kraven but actually focus more on Connors turning into Lizard. Then the second is Kraven taking the spot light and hunting down Lizard.

Personally, I'd find that boring. Kraven doesn't do much but hunt; his death was the defining moment of Kraven as a character. Unless they write him well, he could be another Sandman (in the movie for nostalgia and not much else). The Lizard's interesting, but knowing Raimi's affinity for killing villains off I'd doubt he'd be in two films. Plus, when you think about the transformation/rampage/cure arc they'd probably go with, it sounds like you could easily fit that into the span of one film.

That's why I was hoping early on that Venom's storyline would lead into Carnage's. Not necessarily because I'm a fan of Carnage, but because it creates a smooth continuation that keeps the pace and drama flowing. Outside of that, the only other one I could think of is the flow from Norman to Harry and that's already been done.

The Lizard seems like a lock. Personally,I'm a HUGE Venom fan,but not so much with Carnage. But I will say that having Carnage in either 4 or 5 makes sense because of the remaining symbiote in Connor's lab. Just saying,the option is there.
Kraven does not impress me(visually)enough to be in a major film. Electro,Shocker or Mysterio may have a better shot.
